Ordered takeout the other night. The Joti Dinner for 2 and some appetizers. FOOD was not great. It reminded me of too old leftovers warmed up past their good time. That was confirmed when I woke up in the middle of the night throwing up out of BOTH ends. I’ve eaten food that’s made me feel not so great before but this was another level. Think…. Bridesmaids after they eat at that restaurant trying on dresses. That’s Jotti Palace. I’m sorry to the business but I just have never felt so sick that I wouldn’t wish that upon my worst sworn enemy.
Not authentic Indian food at all. Please save your money and time!
I love this place! I’ve only ever ordered takeout, but can confirm that the interior is quite nice as well.
The food is fresh, flavorful, and I’m so excited to try more from the menu. The naan is the best I’ve ever had. Garlic naan has garlic and cilantro inside, not just brushed on at the end of cooking — and I really appreciate little touches like that. Chicken tikka masala (medium spice) is 10/10. Fish pakora was cooked perfectly, extremely flaky inside and crisp outside. Yesterday was my second time ordering from Joti Palace and I can already tell I’m going to be a regular.
The food is tasty and seasoned well. Things labeled spicy are actually spicy. The lamb vindaloo is my go to order.
Absolutely amazing! I go twice a month and they never disappoint. If you’re a vegetarian this is the place for you by all means. If you’re not a vegetarian, this is still the place for you.
Not sure what some of these bad reviews are. We’ve gotten take-out multiple times from here, and we ate in the other night. The food has always been good, but the dine-in experience was particularly great! The food was delicious, and the service was also really great. Really enjoyed our experience here!
Went for an early lunch. Stale food. Dirty tables.
Underrated. Must try.
I ordered the lunch special; Chicken Tikka Masala. I had 3 pieces of tiny chicken in my dish. Pretty pathetic. Wasn't even tasty. I was reluctant to even check this place out because I have never see anyone ever walk in or dine in. There's a reason why this place is empty ALL THE TIME. It all makes sense now. Why stay open.

10/10 owner is very nice clean and nicest place locally to eat Indian food in Malden. Came from Canada to try out this place. Highly recommend.

I love indian food and have eaten at a few places, but the food here isn't great. I'd unfortunately have to say the whole foods buffet is better. I came to pick up my order which was over $10 and pulled out my credit card. The woman although nice, hustled me for cash. I don't carry cash and if I do its only a couple bucks for tips. After she swiped my card I realized I forgot to get naan with my order but that reality had gone out the window since there was no way she'd swipe my card again for that little. It wasn't a great experience and won't be returning.

My wife and I have been getting takeout here regularly since we moved to Malden 7 years ago and it is consistently great. The vibe for eating in is not great. I think it is largely the blue industrial carpet that makes the place feel weird. But do order takeout, good food, good people!
