Great food, intimate spot nice for special occasions. Proprietor and staff are very capable and pleasant with customers. Glad we tried this little local gem & eager to try their next dining venue.

Honestly some of the best frutti de mare I have ever had. Very cozy and intimate atmosphere. Its like having a little slice of the North End right around the corner. Great spot to bring a date or just to grab some takeout. Easy to miss but definitely look out for it whenever you’re in the mood for Italian

Unfortunately closed in Maplewood due to their building getting sold, but the amazing Owner/cook is Collaborating with exchange Street bistro pushing out amazing dishes just like Serenas. Watching businesses get together to succeed during this pandemic is what it's all about. Rob, Pia and the amazing Bartenders and servers will take amazing care of you. Signature Italian dishes and great bar bites.

So sad to see that this restaurant closed. We had only been a few times, but the food was always wonderful! I'm excited though that the Chef is going to be at Exchange Street Bistro! They are one of my fav restaurants too. I hope some of the menu items here show up on Exchange Street's new menu

Ristorante Serena is our absolute favorite! Katarina is an amazing waitress, very attentive and remembered us from the previous time we visited! Giovanni made us feel like part of the family. The PENNE AL GRANCHIO is AMAZINGGGGG! I cannot recommend this restaurant more

Had an amazing dinner last night with my boyfriend at Serena. Our first time there but certainly NOT our last. I wanted to try Everything in the menu! Can't say enough about the service! And just when you thought it couldn't possibly get any better, the Martini menu is endless and Tiramisu to die for! They are moving to a new location and we plan to be frequent customers.
They are moving! Please visit them in Malden Center. Walkable from the T (once they move). So good! Always friendly. Great experience every time

A hidden gem so close to home! A local friend had told us about this place years before but it was only once our daughter's tastes started to mature that we finally gave it a try. Glad we did! Fried calamari was light, crispy and tender enough to win over even our extremely picky eater! Delicious Italian cooking, charming and cozy atmosphere, and very attentive service. What's not to love?

My daughter and I ate here before attending concert (HER) in October2021. This restaurant earned every star. Portions perfect, taste outstanding, presentation impeccable and service was welcoming and tasteful. You won't regret your visit. I just wish I had room for dessert.
