It’s a simple, classic diner with the usual eggs-and-potatoes style menu. The food is good, the service was excellent, and it hits all the right notes for a solid American breakfast. Nothing fancy, but exactly what you want when you’re craving a reliable, hearty meal.

Food is very good, service is very good but is a over date establishment. Renovation is needed, looked the same for decades. Prices are a bit high

The food is good, had the steak tips, and the service was better! I had a girl named Jaylin I think, she totally made my day. My coffee was always filled, and by the end, so was my stomach. Will definitely come again!!

We were driving to Maine and got hungry, searched for places to eat and the Cafe on the Common popped up.
Yeah it's 20min off 95 but I'd rather give my money to a place like this than some halfass highway reststop national chain.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was classic good soild diner food. And being surrounded by lively locals was fun as well.
Exactly what we wanted.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Only pet peave... you have to ask for jelly for your toast or English muffin. Either have an assortment on each table or serve it with the meal. There are creamers and sugar. Why is jelly so valuable that customers cant be trusted with it? I dont know if that is the isdue but thats what it ferls like to a 25 year patron of the establishment.

It’s one of our favorite places to go for breakfast!! Been there often and it never disappoints. Sometimes the wait can be a little long but it’s worth it

Service was good but the food was just average. Corned beef hash was luke warm and tasted like dog food. Philly cheese steak omelette had ZERO flavor, very little cheese and was $18! That's right, an omelette for $18! Definitely not worth the price. Seems like the food quality and preparation is going downhill.
Very over priced for what it is. The drinks lack, the food is not good for the price, at all.
