They always have great food and a huge selection of gluten free items. I don't feel sick after eating here either

Food wasn’t anything special but wasn’t bad. Service was not great. They treated us like we were teenagers (we are grown adults close to 30) who shouldn’t be dining independently and completely ignored us when we came in to be seated. They seated the couple behind us before us and wouldn’t let us put our food in to go containers alone. They gave the other tables who came in after us drinks and apps first. They also rushed and hovered over us as we filled out the receipt. I’m not sure if it’s because I have a service dog or because we were dressed in comfortable (but decent) clothes or what but I can’t say I recommend.

Fresh and delicious- we got the Yu Hsiang Chicken, Vegetable Fried Rice and a Tidbit platter. All hot and super yummy. Atmosphere is great. Service was fast and the server was great.

Very nice front desk person she stayed a few minutes until after her shift just to hand deliver the soup we ordered while we waited in the car. Had some fun Halloween decor as well.

Don't dine here.

I got seated at a dining table and immediately was confronted by, I suspect, the manager. She and my server were yelling over me for several minutes in another language, gesturing at me over my head. Incredibly unwelcoming and rude. I didn't feel safe and ended up leaving before getting anything.

I probably won't return. The food was just mediocre. Crab Rangoon dripped which was pretty gross. The boneless spareribs were dry. The vegetable rice was okay, not great. Our server was kind of forcing an alcohol beverage which I didn't like! Some people do not drink or do not want to!
I didn't like the atmosphere or decor, it was just blah. This restaurant was recommended by a friend but my husband and I were not impressed.

I love the food here! This is a great Chinese restaurant Right in the heart of Mansfield. This is a great place to bring kids and is a great place for date night. The best part? Almost all of the items on their menu can be made gluten free!

Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options on the menu. You can also ask the staff to make a number of items vegetarian if they're not listed that way.

Dietary restrictions: Cheng-Du has plenty of gluten-free options and vegetarian options on their menu. They are well versed in preventing cross-contamination and have knowledgeable servers who can answer most questions.

Parking: There are about a dozen spaces right outside the restaurant and more down the street.

Kid-friendliness: Every time I come here I see small children ranging in ages from 3 to 10.

Wheelchair accessibility: I would not recommend Cheng-Du for people with mobility impairments. They have a very short ramp with a sharp incline leading into the building. This makes it hard for people to open the door if they have crutches or a wheelchair or some other assistive device.

We ordered the pork appetizer, general tso’s and a seafood/chicken combo dish. 1/2 of the combo dish was so good I literally could not stop eating it. The pork was tender and flavorful, and I don’t even really like pork so I was impressed. Waitress was very nice. Chocolate fortune cookies!

Dietary restrictions: Menu was marked for gluten free items and my husband (celiac disease) did not get ill after eating there. Waitress seemed knowledgeable on celiac.
