Wow…has this place gone straight down hill. I can not believe I ordered the Bistro Steak for $36.00 that I had to saw it, to cut it. Horrible. Not to mention, a Thursday night, with no one there, I had to continually search for our waitress just to get an overpriced Maine Lunch Beer. She was more interested in eating her own dinner than serving us. This will be the last time we go to the Atlantic Bistro. Which used to be our favorite restaurant. Peter Donovan.

Decided to try a new spot other then my usuals and came to yelp to find a spot. I went in by myself on a Thursday night and the bar was full and two people noticed and let me know they were leaving. It is a small bar and everyone seemed to be regulars and they were very welcoming and friendly. I had a gin martini from the cocktail list that was delicious and ordered a cheese board. It was a perfect little snack and I shared it w a couple next to me who then in return gave me a slice of their duck entree. If I was going to have a full dinner I would have ordered the duck. It was cooked to a perfect medium and so tender. I am looking forward to going back next week as I'll be in the area.

Depending where you’re seated it can be very loud, ruining your dining experience or less loud allowing you to enjoy your food. NEVER QUIET.

This was our first time at Atlantic Bistro and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive, personal, and pleasant. The cocktails were fantastic (espresso martini and Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout ... A+) and the food was exceptional. Brussel sprout appetizer was shredded and crispy... Very unique. The salmon entre was excellent, the Monkfish was great and is something we've never seen on a menu before. The portion size is less than huge but that just left room for a fabulous desert. The menu options are small but I take that to mean they are sensational at making everything on it. I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. We'll be back for sure.

We've always had a fantastic experience at Atlantic Bistro. Not this time! The fish was not fresh and the service was not what we have been accustomed to. The price on one of the specials that we ordered was misquoted by our server (found out when the check arrived). We felt rushed, even though the restaurant was only half-full. I indicated on the OpenTable reservation that we had a birthday celebration, but nothing from the server at the end of the meal (we watched as a couple at the next table was treated with a piece of cake and candles). Far from our expectations!

Everything we order is delicious!!! Whether it's fish, steak or chicken it is always cooked to perfection, and with amazing flavors! The service is always great too! They have the best bartender serving some terrific cocktails!! All in all, one of our favorite restaurants!

We both had the tuna special and split the olive oil cake for dessert. We have had many good meals at the Atlantic Bistro but this was the best ever. The chefs really know what they are doing As always service was excellent--just the right combination of friendly, attentive, and time alone. We will be back . . . soon. Our only complaint, and it is minor, is that we wish the path from parking--in front or in back--had better lighting. It is very hard to see where one is walking,
We had the fennel salad, duck breast, and a tuna special, all of which were exceptionally good. One of us had the Caesar salad, which was so-so. Cocktails were delicious, as was one of the desserts, a chocolate pot de creme. Our server, Christine, was wonderful -- very helpful and knowledgeable.

Food was outstanding...monkfish/cabbage/smoked mussel dish was deliciously unique in taste and presentation... great job for being sooo original and authentically gourmet at its best. You are truly one of a kind in today's world! We thank you!!!

Pan-seared George's Bank Scallops for me and Hazelnut Crusted Long Island Duck Breast for him - perfectly cooked and oh-so-delicious! It was the anniversary dinner we dreamed it would be. Our shared appetizer of roasted sunchokes was the recommendation of our wonderful waitress, Ally. The sunchokes were crisply roasted with just the right seasonings. The surprise of the evening was a phone call to the hostess from our family members to pay for our dinner. The lesson: always let your family know where you'll be dining for special occasions.

Romantic, comfortable, and intimate. Simple field greens salad, perfectly dressed with an assortment of textures. We splurged on the gnocchi appetizer which was wickedly good. Entrées, all perfectly prepared and presented, layered with the pommes, delicious! Beer and wine list thoughtfully pairs well with the menu and they have an Oktober Fest-Marzen Ayinger beer which is a must try. Wait staff is knowledgeable and keeps the vibe humming. A gem.

Our dinner was delicious and service was friendly, warm and helpful. Brooke checked in appropriately and made sure our meals were cooked as ordered. We had 4 different entries and all were enjoyed. We will definitely go back next time we are in Marion.
