This was some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. Better than Sweet Cheeks, Blue Ribbon, Smoke House, The Porch. The ribs, brisket, fried chicken, wings, Mac n cheese, all perfect and juicy. Don’t fall for bbq in the city. This place is dramatically better and authentic.

Been coming here for almost two years and the food quality has always been consistently good. Service is friendly, even when very busy. Special thanks to the valet service recently added as parking can sometimes be tight especially with food pickup drivers. Those guys do a stellar job of managing the lot during crunch time!

Was a great experience! Saturday night after a long afternoon of apple picking and needed some good food. Stopped in and was blown away by this spot.
Ordered brisket and St Louis ribs. Smoky, tender, and delicious across the board! Top tier for sure.
Got sweet potato fries, coleslaw, cucumber salad, and Mac'n cheese for sides. Plus, the cornbread is included. All were great ?
They also have a great self-serve bbq sauce area that makes it easy to get however much sauce of whichever house made blend you like!
In addition to excellent BBQ, they offer hundreds of whiskeys. Went with a 1½oz pour of Four Roses Single barrel. Great selection!
We finished off with chocolate Bignets, which were basically lightly fried crispy pastries with fluffy buttery chocolate filing.
As we were leaving live music was setting up in their stage area so will have to come back for a show. Highly recommend and will be back for sure!

We always love coming here. Our service is always great as is the food. Tonight, our waitress went above and beyond and reseated us away from a family with a screaming baby that cried the entire dinner! She in a casual way said we might like to sit at a diff booth.... boy was she right! Thank you Marisa, you're a great waitress, very attentive and very personable.

Fun place to eat and enjoy some American BBQ. My ribs were seasoned and cooked perfectly. My wife loved her pulled chicken and my daughter tore trough her chicken and waffles.

Mediocre barbecue at best I honestly don’t think it’s anything special and I honestly wasn’t impressed. I don’t know who gives out these awards, but I think they’re paying off the judges. Do yourself a favor stay out of the bar unless you want to encounter some rough people, but what do you expect? It’s Worcester county not really a good area to be in

This place has excellent customer service. I was with my family having dinner on the patio, it was a little cold but our waitress made it warm. The food was delicious.
Thanks Colina, I hope I spelled your name right.

Solid BBQ!! We really enjoyed our lunch here. The pulled pork platter was huge and a super great value to boot!! The MAC & Cheese “was legit” and the nachos were also extremely pleantiful and yummy!! We will for sure return to try more items on the menu.
The service was great!! Super place to watch some sports!!

I'm Houston TX grown. I judge a BBQ place by its Brisket. Firefly's brisket had good flavor. A fine choice of rub and crust buildup. However, the dish was heat lamp warm when served. The meat had dried and oxidized somewhat and was a bit mushy. This was dinner time around 6:30. I'm unsure of their smoking timeline, but I get the feeling the meats are smoked in bulk and then placed in the warmer instead of being sliced up fresh. It might be best to go right at opening to get the freshest cuts.
The sides (excluding cornbread) were excellent. My standard sides are mashed potatoes w/ gravy and coleslaw. The potatoes and gravy were from scratch, and that quality shows through. It was Sunday dinner worthy. The coleslaw was good, no notes there.
Cornbread needs to he revamped. As all new England BBQ chains do, they have opted for a sweet cake like corn bread, most likely a purchased mix. Tastes like they have the same supplier as every other BBQ place, and I'm tired of it. I could not taste any corn meal. Moisture is ideal in many breads and cakes but not cornbread. It needs to be dry to sop up drippings. Its utility is why it's included, and many joints think it's supposed to be its own entity. It's not. It is part of the meal.
They did include a single piece of white bread but I didn't notice at first because it was under my brisket preemptively soaking up my drippings. This is a plating issue that could be easily solved.
No sauces were present at my table and I was not asked if I wanted any, none of my table was. I remember reading their description on the menu and liking what I saw, but I forgot to order any with my meal to try. It is weird to not have any sauce bottles at the tables.
I like to see BBQ places in New England trying. You would be surprised how many don't have an on sight smoker or pitmaster. This place has good potential, but for now, it's adequate. Maybe I'll go back for a round two, but I hope they continue to work on and improve their BBQ experience.

We recently had Fireflies BBQ Catering for our company summer event, and they truly exceeded our expectations! The servers were exceptional, setting up and serving food with great efficiency and friendliness. They even went above and beyond by going around to pick up dirty plates, ensuring that our guests had a seamless dining experience.
Our initial serving time was scheduled from 1:45-2:45 PM, but we requested that our volunteers and staff be served first. Despite initial hesitation due to the chafers not being fully warmed up, the servers managed to accommodate us. They worked with us to serve our team an hour earlier than planned, and we are incredibly grateful for their understanding and flexibility.
The serving schedule did shift around, but thanks to the diligent and cooperative staff, everyone was served timely when the event officially started at 1:30 PM. The food was, as always, absolutely delicious. Highlights included St. Louis ribs, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, their signature BBQ sauces, Mac n Cheese, and a refreshing cucumber salad.
Fireflies BBQ Catering made our event a success with their delicious food and outstanding service. We highly recommend them and are grateful for their exceptional efforts. ?????

Top tier poutine (it’s just the best thing they have) and great brisket hands down, compared to sweet cheeks this place wins the 1st place in my heart.
