Today was one of those days I was saving myself for lunch, meaning: I didn’t eat till 4 pm so I could have room in my belly for something special - well to be honest I had a bite to eat at dunkin earlier before work but nonetheless… This one was worth it! Firefly’s BBQ is had THE Ribs! The only place I had such good ribs that I can remember was in Florida back in the day, but this one is amazing. First of best staff of the month for me, super nice helpful lady, making good suggestions, being efficient and serving without asking all the time if everything was good… She was confident it was, and anybody could tell by the look in my face. I had the St Louis ribs and Texas brisker . So Good! Great variety of sauces that could make your taste buds experience virtually limitless. The pictures I saw on instagram before weren’t even half percentage of how good these meats are. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, I’m full right now, I barely finish and I’m thinking of when I’m coming back again.

The food is amazing. I've lived and eaten in Texas, St Louis, Memphis, New Orleans, etc. The BBQ obviously has passion and the pit master is attentive. The smoked appetizer wings are smokey but MOIST! Great initial crunch of the fried wing you want but then a super juicy meaty bite like you wouldn't believe. I got the combo 2 meat for my entree. Ribs fall off the bone and have the perfect mix of fat. The fried chicken is just like I described the wings above, but somehow elevated. Imagine what you THOUGHT KFC was as a child (this only applies to the elder millennials). SUPER CRUNCHY first bite and then the juiciest, meatiest fried chicken I've had in forever. This place is amazing and the staff are great too!

Such a great experience here last night! We had never been, and the food, drinks, service… All literally perfect. Jason was our server and he knew about every single item on the menu, answered all of our questions, made a few helpful suggestions, and was just really great to us. My husband got the smoked old-fashioned and said it was the best he ever had; my cranberry mule was perfect: presentation for both was outstanding. I got the brisket and pulled pork combo and it was amazing: tender, juicy and flavorful. My husband chose ribs and brisket and he loved his too. The barbecue beans were delicious, so was the mac & cheese. We tried all the BBQ sauces & loved them all. Cole slaw was the best I’ve ever had. We didn’t need to seek out Jason for a thing because he just knew exactly what to bring, before we knew we needed it…extra napkins, waters, condiment choices, to-go containers, etc. Everyone working there was friendly and outgoing and seemed happy to be there, portions were VERY generous and prices very reasonable. It’s been a while since we enjoyed a meal out this much, everything was seamless and exceeded our expectations.
The food was fine. Prices were high for lunch tray service. Portions smaller than last time, Self service on BBQ sauce, they don't bring it with the meal anymore, and they removed their pickle bar. M Firefly is close when meeting a friend that annually, but not worth the travel (Smokehouse is a better fit). Unfortunaltey I can't rate attitude of management.

My wife and I recently visited Firefly's after about 25 years. The service was very good—our waitress, Brianna, did a terrific job! However, the food was subpar. My baby back ribs were burnt, and my wife's Memphis-style ribs were nearly burnt as well. Additionally, my wife's potato salad had a weird taste, so she asked for something different. After speaking to the manager, Bianca, she assured us that this was completely unacceptable and offered us a gift card for our next visit.

I'm from South Carolina and have moved up to Massachusetts a number of years ago, and the search for authentic barbecue has been an ongoing and disappointing one. However, we chanced upon Firefly's today, and our faith was rewarded! The best St. Louis ribs, the best cucumber salad, the best pulled pork, and gumbo better than we had in New Orleans. We heard that the gumbo was the recipe of someone's grandmother and you can tell that it was made with love. Even the right amount of the right kind of cornbread! Delightfully, the mocktail with the cranberry was both sweet and tart in a perfectly balanced way. In the middle of the meal, we contacted nearby family, and have already set a date to bring everyone to Firefly's so they can see what we mean about Southern cooking.

We had Firefly’s cater a family party for over 20 people. They were incredibly helpful on how much to order, what to order for the kids, etc. They came and set everything up quickly. Everyone loved the food! Second family party catered by them within 6 weeks!! A winner for sure!
