Gotta love Friendly's. Lexi is the best waitress ever, and had some really great suggestions. Coke Zero with vanilla syrup instead of regular Coke. Never would have tried that, but I concede: it's even better.

Tried a new meal, Harvest Stack. It was excellent. An amazing open faced turkey sandwich! Vienna Mocha chunk fribble was great too.
Parking: Easy parking available right near the restaurant.

My first paycheck job was at Friendly’s in a now long gone shopping mall. I was the cook and made $2.35 an hour in 1985. Could you imagine? People waited up to an hour to be seated. Food was relatively good and a very good value. Fast-forward to 2024. As I sit and eat my dried out chicken sandwich, I watch senior citizens and young families with kids, which is the typical clientele, as I read the canned management responses to all the poor comments. Wanting to improve, striving to do better etc. That in itself seems to be a full-time job. At $31, includes tip, for a mediocre chicken sandwich, fries, a soda and a milkshake I would have to agree- The quality does not match the price even in these high-priced times. I would compare the quality to a high school cafeteria. Unfortunately the “good ole days” are gone. Now my final thought, did Friendly’s put shopping malls out of business or did shopping malls put Friendly’s out of business? R.I.P.

We had horrible service. After being seated for about 10-15m, we let a host know that we hadn't seen a server. Our server took our order and then disappeared in the back for a long time. He was seated 2 additional tables and brought my and my son's meals but forgot my husband's ice cream. After some time we asked about my husband's ice cream and he apologized for forgetting. Then he brought the wrong ice cream. After we all finished our food, we waited for the server to order ice cream for the rest of the table. I caught the server's eye and asked if we could order ice cream. He said yes and turned and walked out back again. We waited so long my husband and toddler left to go sit in the car. When he came back out, he asked, "Didn't I give you the check?" My son's kids meal includes an ice cream and I was going to get one too. I ended up asking for my son's to go and not getting one for myself. When he brought it out, i reminded him it was to go and he apologized for forgetting again. When he brought the to go cup for us to put it in ourselves, he brought the check and left again before I could give him my card. We were there for about an hour and a half. The food was OK. The ice cream was good. The seats were covered in crumbs when we were seated. My son got a kids menu but no activity sheet though I saw crayons ready at the host stand. We will not be returning. It is a shame. I used to love Friendly's restaurants when I was younger and was so excited to introduce my children to it.
Dietary restrictions: They only have 2 options for gluten free (cobb salad and grilled chicken meal) and no gluten free rolls. No dedicated fry fryer.

It seemed more like a small sample of what Friendly's was. Or an off brand version of Friendly's. Like the "Great Value" of Friendly's.
The portion sizes were definitely small and not prepared the right way.
I used to be a subcontractor for Friendly's in the early 2000s. I've been to just about every Friendly's in the north east. The portion sizes were all the same. This place is definitely a prime example of the Biden/Harris shrinkflation. The Ice Cream sizes were good, but the prices were a bit steep.
Food taste was not bad, but it just wasn't that Friendly's taste either. My daughter ordered the Turkey Club Super MELT, and they never even heated the sandwich up to be a MELT. We ordered the Munchie Mania w loaded waffle fries. It was waffle fries with that generic yellow liquidity cheese that some people put on nachos, and that's it. Loaded usually means cheese and bacon or chives or something along with the cheese and fries.
The chicken quesadilla, which used to be one of my favorites, had barely anything inside them. We picked up one that literally was just the tortilla shell. Nothing inside. The taste was just off.
Service, with no fault to the waitress, it was bad. When we walked in, there was a sign that said, "Please wait to be seated." So we did. As we waited, there were at least three people standing behind the ice cream order area just staring at us. No one said anything. No greeting, no "someone will be right with you" nothing. Just three girls with sparky looks staring. The Ice Cream order counter wasn't even busy. They could of came around and sat us. Then we looked out across the resteraunt and there was what appeared to be a manager bussing a table and one waitress. She pointed at us and pointed at the table. So the waitress finally after 20 minutes came over and sat us. No big deal. But then we realized that she was the ONLY waitress. We didn't see the manager lady the rest of the time we were there. The place got busy. The poor waitress was dealing with whole dinning room. Then, the three people behind the counter disappeared. So now our waitress is dealing with the dining room, the ice cream counter, and bussing tables. So unfortunately our service was a bit slow. She was a rockstar! The manager never came to help, and those three girls behind the counter re appeared and were slow to even get the three customers they had at their counter served. They seemed useless.
The manager should have split them up and had at least one of them come out to the dining room arra to help with the people sitting and eating. Or came put herself and helped the waitress.
The atmosphere was alright. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Kids were laughing and goofing around. The decore and colors are kind of bland and don't really resemble the old Friendly's with the more farmhouse style they had. I know they had to do away with the old decore because a shelf had fallen, and the stuff (old milk jugs, baskets, and other farm style decore) had hit a customer. After the remodels, I thought they did a great job with showing images of the old but with the new, modern graphics and images they had us put on the walls. This place was just meh. Also, probably due to there only being one waitress who was basically running the place, it was a bit messy. Unbussed tables and stuff on the floor. Not going to hold that against the place unless if we go back, it's like that again. Just chalking it up to understaffed.
Overall, the place wasn't bad, and we even were talking about trying it again sometime as it is the only Friendly's around us, unfortunately. I used to eat there a lot and we use to go to the one in Holden, MA alot Not sure why they decided to close that one, it was always full. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Anyway, it just didn't feel like a "Friendly's". It felt like a knockoff trying to be a Friendly's. With the very

What happened to Friendly’s Fish Sandwich??? What I had today, for almost $15.00 wouldn’t even qualify for “pig slop”!!
A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!!
We mostly use drive-thru & pick-up (take out). **WARNING** if using drive thru you will be there awhile! 4/5 times our orders are not completed the way we ordered it!
