They recently began renovating the place and I feel like we're paying for it with the increased prices.
There are always going to be people who love this place because they've been going there forever, but the quality, service and atmosphere of the place does not make up for the high prices.
My wine came with lipstick on the glass, our server was slow and was not the friendliest. Our food was ok, but standard pub fare for sure. We have had the prime rib before they raised the price to 40 dollars and I can tell you it is not that great. The popover on my plate was still partially frozen as well.
I just feel that for the price point, things should be pulled together a little more.

My wife and I came in for an early dinner on a beautiful fall evening and sat in their "secret garden". Stunning, you forget what town you're in! And the food is reliably delicious. Great drinks too!

Maybe it was an off night for this restaurant, but nonetheless here's my experience. First we had a 6 o'clock appointment and had to wait 20 minutes to get a table. Our order didn't come out until an hour later. Three of us ordered prime rib, which I was told was THE best around. It wasn't, one went back and we ate the other two which were on the tough side. Priced at 39 dollars it should have been better, came with one side potato choice. By the time we were asked how it was we were tired of waiting to eat and well into the meal.

We’ve been long time customers at Kennedy’s but hadn’t been in a while. We went on a Tuesday night and the place was slammed with 2 special event parties and just the regular dinning room too. Despite how busy it was our server Kris was on top of everything. She even offered for my husband to try a sample of a new beer. Our food came out quickly and was even better than usual. We could see how busy our server was running around our entire meal, but she checked on us consistently and provided overall great service. It was an excellent night to celebrate my mother in laws birthday!

Visited for a work event—the broiled haddock was good. The waitstaff was pretty attentive, and the food came out quickly. A few steaks at our table weren't cooked to the right doneness. Nice homey atmosphere.

The outdoor patio Is urrounded by beautiful planting creating a garden atmosphere. I love the giraffe statue. The food was excellent and service was attentive.

Very friendly staff and great service. I have enjoyed several lobster dinners there while on my visits to Massachusetts. I reside in the greater New Orleans area, and it’s hard to impress me with restaurant service. Interior has been recently upgraded.
