First and foremost, the service was incredible. Every person we spoke to was friendly and patient.
The alcoholic drinks in our party were made really well.
The food was fresh but lacked seasoning and salt. The Fajitas came out sizzling. The guacamole was fresh but heavy with lime.
The prices were fair for the massive amounts of food we received.
I would return again but choose something else.
I ordered here from Door Dash completely disrespectful with the portion size, I’m grown man this portion size wouldn’t fill up 5 year old they gave me 2 bites of rice, the beans were cold, burrito was cold and there had no sauce that I chose. First last time

Food was good. The salsa and queso were watered down. The menu was expensive. The service was good
Since moving to MA, I've had a hard time finding a decent Mexican spot. I initially skipped over Lalo's due to their average ratings and instead tried some of the more highly reviewed places. Unfortunately, they did not live up to the hype in my opinion. Recently craved some Mexican food, I decided to give Lalo's a try since the common theme of their lower rates were due to service.
Upon arrival, my wife and I weren't formally greeted, but a waiting staff did finally notice us and informed us to sit anywhere we liked. I tried a variety of tacos, and honestly, they were much better than what I had compared to the other highly rated locations. I ordered the Carne Asada, Birria, Chicken, al pastor and fish tacos. The al pastor, chicken and Birria were my favorites. The Fish and shrimp tacos felt a bit underwhelming in a taco form, but would probably better served as a protein with rice and beans. The fish tacos came with rice and beans, which I did enjoy the rice and beans.
I considered ordering a drink towards the end of the meal, but the waiter did not come back to check on us, and overall attention to the table was a bit lacking. It was not the worst service I've experienced, but there is definitely room for improvement.
Overall, I would go back and try more of their menu. So far, this has been the better Mexican option I have found in the area.

The food truck portion sizes are way too small for the prices! Tiny portions with restaurant prices. A chicken quesadilla with no sides is $16. The portion size is for a child… Be prepared to spend a lot more than you intended on your cheap date night.
Beautifully upgraded decor, small but cozy, with really huge portions (enough for 2) if you order a quesadilla! Bartender was awesome even though he was busy and made a killer margarita! Very affordable and will be back.

Worst place ever I ordered the carne assada dinner but instead they gave me the t.pastor taco and I was so upset 😤 and lady was lying to me that I ordered the carne assada taco and I told her I didn’t 😭😭😭
If you're from the West Coast and have been desperately searching for good tacos, this is your place.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff and management always present. Food is alright; good but nothing to die for. Great prices compared to other mexican restaurants plus what I mentioned before are the only reason I’m putting 4 stars. My biggest complaint is that they have no shame in serving watery salsa (served with the starter tortilla chips). It’s literally red water with like 5 pieces of red onion!

Excellent not-too-fancy place. Flavors were spot-on, portions large but not overwhelming. Has an “authentic “ vibe.

The best tacos in Marlborough are found here. Delicious food. I always order takeout and I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for my order. The people who work here are always very attentive and friendly. Thanks Lalos for their good Mexican cuisine.
The kind of place you gatekeep! Best tacos around the meat is very nice and tender in the tacos I have had the carne asada,al pastor, chicken, fish and no notes. The guac is so fresh the queso dip is alright but you can tell everything is made with love. The ceviche is a hidden one on the menu but it's very good.(Get their piña colada ) 10/10
