Aoyama Reviews
disgusting place rude staff.
Second time I’ve been and just as disappointed.I only went because I was told that it had gotten better the food was phenomenal…..no it still sucks. No fault of the waitstaff because there was only one waitress and she worked her butt off! But the chef for the Hibachi was terrible! Aoyama has mixed reviews. The food, particularly the hibachi and sushi, is often praised for being fresh, tasty, and generous in portions. The chefs are commended for their entertaining performance, and the staff is noted as very kind. However, there have been issues with service, including long waits for drinks and water, and failure to accommodate food allergies. Some visitors feel the restaurant is understaffed, leading to a rushed dining experience. The ambiance and vibe have been criticized, with complaints about a bad musty smell due to old carpet. While the inside is dated, it remains a solid choice for takeout. The quality of the food is generally good, but service and atmosphere can be improved.
