This restaurant is top notch for locals, and tourist during the summer months. They have the best breakfast, and lunch on the whole South Shore. The customer service is top notch, and the food is fresh, hot, and basically the best. I have lived here for years and I am dedicated to this establishment. This is an old school true gem that services the community in a great fashion. No other local establishment can even come close to the hard work put into this local national treasure by the owners, and employees!!! Kevin

Went here on the advice of friends and they were spot on. I've lived in the area when I was younger and don't remember if this was there which would have been around the time of Arthur and Pat's but this has been around for many years and just never got the chance to go. I love the variety on their menu and they're named signature dishes. Very tasty and the way that they do their corned beef hash on the grill is outstanding.

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday while visiting a friend and just loved the food and the atmosphere.

I ordered 2 of the Original Pancakes served with lots of butter, and covered them with syrup and enjoyed the meal. My partner and our friend ordered the Blueberry Pancakes and they both enjoyed the flavors. For side dishes we ordered a few plates of potatoes, one being hash brown patties and the other being fried potatoes with a little onion.

Great spot for a quick bite, with excellent service.

I would have love to put 0 but it’s a 1. I had to call 11 times just to get hung up or they would answer to just hang up and once they answered they gave a mad disrespectful attitude on that they can’t do pick up’s because it’s busy??? It’s fine but having to hang up the phone many times and answer with a horrible tone? Hell no.

There was a wait, which is fine due to the holiday. However it was about 10-20 minutes longer than what we were told. People who came 20 minutes after us were seated before us and when we were finally seated the entire table was sticky. Food was great like usual but they brought out toast for one person then food for one person at least 5 minutes before the rest which is quite rude to eat before someone else has their food so by the time the complete meal was on the table the first bits were cold.

The wait time was long, the waitresses were surly (two of them). When I spoke to the woman at the cash register (when she finally looked at me) to tell her we had to seat ourselves and were still waiting for utensils, etc she made excuses excuses about “not seeing us!”.
This is the first time in my life I’ve ever complained about a business. We would have just left but someone in our party had a long ride and was famished.
The two waitresses whispered to each other about us making us very uncomfortable. I felt like I was back at Durgin Park in Boston in the day. But when you went there it was a schtick and you expected to be treated poorly.
Just think Nick the owner ought to know.
Very disappointed.

Great menu selections, breakfast food that actually had flavor! I got the breakfast tacos. They had some spice, but not overly so. My friend loved the home fries as they had seasoning, and they were cooked with onion. The biggest complaint is the acoustics in this place! You can't really have a conversation with all the ambient noise and clanging around you going on. We were going to order a side pancake but just wanted to get out of there due to noise. Great food

It was my first time here and I'm happy with my experience. I had the Marilyn Monroe breakfast and it was worth the money.
