Rude, ignorant, and not too bright working here

Who puts clove in a jelly donut ? If I wanted some 1500’s old school recipe from the pilgrims, I would order the artisan donuts that you do not have listed on your menu. Seriously, your apple filled and jelly stick both saturated with clove and the old fashion donut was fried in the same oil or at some time because they tasted like clove as well. .

:) I come to this place almost every morning and it’s always a nice time, food is great and the workers are genuine people! great coffee and they always have oat milk so that’s a plus!

Vegetarian options: peanut butter bagel, grilled cheese, egg/cheese sandwich, coffee w non dairy milk

Dietary restrictions: I am a vegan and they’re very nice about it/helpful even recommended taking out this black bean soup they had and preparing it for me the next day!

Kid-friendliness: Nice fun atmosphere I know the owner is personally great with kids and I believe some kids wait for the bus there as well

This is your old school neighborhood Donut Shop, the good news is you can actually afford to visit often as they have fair pricing.

Over-fryed and dense. Probably the worst donut shop donuts I have had. I don't understand how this place has such a high rating. We love donuts and frequent donut shops when we travel. We bought a dozen to sample all the varieties. I only liked one. In general, they were overcooked, dry, and dense. Maybe this is how they make donuts in the Northeast, but I am used to a lighter, better tasting donut. The coating of the crunch donut was very good. Most of the others were dry because they had been cooked too long, the marble especially. Disappointing. The shop itself is very cute and the worker was nice also. We visited in a Thursday morning about 7:30 am. We stopped earlier this week at 9:15 and they were sold out for the day.Another positive is that they were reasonably priced. However, that doesn't mean a lot of the donuts aren't good. They only take cash, which is inconvenient.I don't write very many two star reviews and I am hesitant to give a small business a poor rating, but consumers are expecting an honest assessment when referring to reviews when making a decision.Unfortunately, I would skip this place.

This place is crowded for a reason but be patient! Great coffee and bagels with the beach nearby.

Not sure if I visited on an off day since it was a rainy week day morning but the iced coffee was bland and the strawberry frosted donuts tasted like they were days old. The jey stick barely had any jelly. I don’t understand the hype.
