Not sure what all the fuss is about, and I'm sorry to have to write this review. My son and I went here after finding the nearby well-rated Mae's sandwich shop closed for the day. Bought a turkey wheat wrap, a turkey sandwich, an apple crumb tart, and a small couscous salad. The wrap contained unremarkable tasting slices of turkey that looked straight from a deli, a bit of stuffing, a tiny squirt of cranberry something, and a tiny bit of mayo. The apple tart was mostly crust and crumb and almost no apples or taste. The couscous salad was decent, and I have not tried the sandwich yet. We will not be going back. The checkout woman was polite and helpful.

This place has always been great. People drive an hour for their turkey
The bad reviews should not be taken seriously.

This place has been ruined by the newer owners including that Turkey Pies have been decimated. This used to be one of my favorite places on the South Shore. Now it has gone to — Don’t try to bring this up with the newer staff, all they have are excuses, a sign of a poorly run business.

This review is about turkey pickup.

This business is disorganized. Order over the phone then get ready to wait over an hour in a line just to pick up your order.

This business should have pickup windows to shorten the line, or get organized in a way that can streamline through the already known pickup volume.

After cooking The Turkey, it ended up not being that good. I don't recommend this store for Turkeys.

I lived on their turkey pies when I was in my late teens in the mid eighties. When the Gerards ran the business. The pies were chock full of chunks of white turkey meat. The quality deteriorated over the years. My sister just bought me two pies last week to help me bulk up after an illness. They were all gravy, lousy gravy, and what little meat was there was small scraps. Gerards, you should close your doors. Reading through the reviews your staff sux too

It's a take-out, grab a quick snack, or request a catering order. Never a disappointment. Always high quality food & friendly staff, for the times I've been there. Not much atmosphere as far as "sitting down to eat" because that's not what this place is. Definitely recommended for either a caterer or just grabbing a few options for a family dinner!
