Very very good food and waitstaff. Hostesses and reservations very unhelpful. No attention to creating a welcoming venue with customers needs or requests of any importance. Hire some experienced, maybe older, front of house staff. They currently set a negative tone on a night out.

I had to filet fromaggio yesterday afternoon and everything about it was a 10 out of 10... It was flavorful. Everything was served piping hot and priced very reasonably our server Sarah was on top of the entire process.

Ambience abounds throughout in the dining and bar areas. Picture cozy, warm, and nostalgic with a roaring fireplace while you dine However …My two recent visits left us scratching our heads. Bar service was less than stellar with us having to ask for menus. We were never checked back with And we had to ask for check. I wanted desert but at this point I was just ready to leave. Both times the bartender was rather condescending and it didn’t go unnoticed It will be some time before I return because of this.Food & drinks: There could be one or two entrees that are vegetarian friendly

Fairview Inn, is in one of the prettiest Oceanside stays I’ve had. The staff is super friendly, the food is great and affordable, walkable to many other restaurant, beaches and night life. Also, you may see some seals being lazy on the rocks at the bottom of the sea wall!

We loved our visit and hope to return one day. The room was clean and cozy. The view was beautiful!We did take food out and over to a friend's house nearby. Everyone loved their food. The only reason I took one star away from the service is they forgot our chowder. Luckly we weren't too far away and my husband drove back to get it.Thank you for your hospitality, we loved our stay!

The food was very good! The sevice at the bar was not good. A blonde female bartender has a very bad attitude. Ordered food and the wrong food came out and no applogy. Coud have offer a drink, appitizer, dessert on the house. That is how you get costumer's to want to came back and try again. Think twice about spending you money at this restaurant!!!!!

Visited the restaurant the other day with my parents, meeting up with family friends for the first time in a few years. The waitress gave us plenty of time to catch up and chat while at the same time remaining available to us. The food was excellent and we had a great time!

I was there for 1 nite to attend a Celebration of Life of a close family member & I found it very peaceful & serene with the ocean just across the street.I slept very well but I feel they should have had someone in the Inn available 24hrs downstairs & not just available by phone or email!!!!!!! I would like to be able to stay again but the 8nn should have better communication with their guests staying there.
