Was passing through the airport and stumbled upon this place. Got the uncle Steve 10/10!!!
I had the roasted turkey and Swiss. Excellent sandwich, bread was thick with crispy edges. One of the best things I’ve had in ages. A gift to the area. Baked goods are also excellent.

I ordered the Mae's salad with chickpea salad on top, and it was absolutely delicious! Fresh greens, a generous scoop of chickpea salad, and plenty of fixings. I opted for the tahini ranch on the suggestion of an employee, and it was very tasty. I appreciate the homemade quality of the food and fresh vegetarian options. Great cold drinks too. If I ever find myself in the area again, I will definitely go back. The place is adorable, clean, and has plenty of outdoor picnic tables to eat at. Thanks for a great lunch!
Unreal fresh homemade food. From sandwiches to pastries to the meatballs and sauce - chef Drew is a culinary magician. There's a reason this spot is one of the perennial best on the South Shore.
Absolutely incredible. Many sandwhich options that you can customize to your liking! Lots of grab and to stuff from the fridge as well like soups, dips, and pickles! The staff are all so so friendly and the service is fast even when it's busy. I wish i lived closer becuase I'd be here all the time!
Mae's never fails to deliver. The sandwiches are always fresh, consistent, unique and satisfying. I’ve tried them all and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Suggestion...trust their bread choice and don't substitute, they are the sommeliers of sandwiches. The pic show’s The Great Pumpkin on the left and The Roasted Chicken Salad on the right. They care about their product and it shows. Good Job Mae’s.

The salad sandwich is the best sandwich in the world.
Little place that ISN’T your average sandwich shop. Had a Cappozzoli, Italian cold cuts on focaccia bread….great portion/outstanding meats, excellent sandwich!

I used to think that sandwiches are topped at how good they can be - “come on, it’s still a sandwich.” I am happily proven wrong. This was absolutely phenomenal and I will be returning until I try every sandwich on the menu.

With great reviews, we decided to give Mae's a try on Thursday, our WFH day. We ordered the Sunrise BLT and the Uncle Stevie, picked the sandwiches up and brought them home. Unfortunately, Uncle Stevie must've been a pyromaniac - the focaccia was inedible; completely burned. I don't understand how someone could look at it and say "yeah, I'm proud of this and would serve it to my mom". I could eat the roast beef after scooping it out and plopping on my own bread, but what a disappointment. I guess the figured that if it's clearly take out, then don't bother getting it right.

Hands down the best sandwich shop in Massachusetts. I lived in Boston for 9 years and have yet to find anything that’s as good as Mae’s. My favorite thing to order is the salad sandwich, side of bbq chips, small container of sliced pickles (these are INSANELY GOOd) and a cookie. The focaccia bread is also to die for so make sure whatever sandwich you get. It is on the focaccia bread. Also, the staff is wonderful. There’s a reason this place was just awarded the best sandwich shop in Massachusetts.
