We had our 25th high school reunion at Stellwagen Beer Company, and it was an amazing experience! From the start, Mike, the taproom manager, was fantastic to work with. He made the planning and organizing of the event a breeze, ensuring everything went smoothly. The venue itself is perfect for a casual and fun gathering, with plenty of space and a great atmosphere. Everyone who attended had a blast, and the beer selection was top-notch—there was something for everyone to enjoy. Highly recommend Stellwagen for any event, and we will definitely be back!

I had a great visit with my father. Beer recommendations from the head brewer were excellent. Especially liked the 6 year anniversary DIPA. Nice outdoor area too.

Great brewery. Big and roomy, family and dog friendly and they have a separate room for the 21+ crowd if you don’t dig the family vibe. Great selection of beers. I’m not a fan of IPAs, and still had plenty to choose from. The Sucking Diesel and Jurassic Dark are excellent. The Wicked Craic is also excellent. Prices are better than your average bar, so well worth making this your go to watering hole.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Stellwagen in their private event space and it was a dream! Mike connected us with the Bone and Bread food truck for catering - he and the owner of Bone and Bread, John were SO helpful in the months leading up to our wedding and our guests could not stop talking about how much they loved the food and the brewery. Thank you for making our big day so special!

My husband and I have been supporters of Stellwagon since the moment they opened. I even had his bday party there last year. Tonight is the last night we will ever go. I am heartbroken. We decided to swing in for a quick family moment for firepit Friday which my husband has been looking forward to. Some woman who apparently works there who wasn't working tonight came up to us to reprimand us that our daughter was running around outside too much. (While we were right next to her)She was so out of line I cannot express. We are the first to say if our daughter is misbehaving .My husband is a doctor and I am a Mom who has no problem saying my daughter is misbehaving. We are sad to say our time with Stellwagon is done as we have been the most loyal customers. Note: if you have children they do not want you to come. Most breweries welcome kids...they do not. We had an experience like this a few years back where we got kicked out with our 1 yr old but chalked it up to Covid. We now realize they just don't want kids and tolerate them because they have to.

There is always something fun going on at this brewery! We like to bring some food and have a few drinks - the atmosphere and drinks are great!

Worst brewery I’ve been to, hands down! Upon initially walking in we saw only 2 other customers, keep in mind both have flights of beer. I’m joined with a party of 8 a few of which also want flights. Well apparently you cannot order flights if the place is packed. Apparently 2 customers is too overwhelming for this business. Not to mention the lady at the register was appalled having being asked to provide a flight of beer. Basically if you like beer flights or any enjoyment whatsoever don’t come here. Even our dog hated it. ABSOLUTE JUNK!!

wish i could give 0 stars. my family and i got there at 3:00, it is now 3:10 and i’m writing this from the car. we are all disgusted with the attitude of the woman working at the bar. she gave all of us attitude for every single question we asked, including if she could pour us a flight. she told us (not nicely and with attitude) that it would take too long (there were TWO other customers in the entire place, sitting at a table and not even waiting in line. what else does she have to be doing?) 8 of us left without spending a dime and we will NOT return
