Just love the Fairview Inn Grill in Marshfield! My go to is the Seafood Casserolle as it is totally to die for. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the staff are always welcoming and pleasant.

My wife and I dined at Fairview on Easter Sunday and were met with stellar service and served exquisite food. I had a perfectly cooked salmon topped with Maryland crab, and a touch of hollandaise sauce. Moreover, the whipped potatoes and asparagus were superb. Our server Peyton was supported by a number of helpful staff wearing bunny ears. They eagerly hopped to meet our dining needs. As always, The Fairview consistently ranks high on our list for south shore dining. B.Ryan

Went there for Easter. My son had chicken tenders and fries, My wife had the ham dinner my mother in law had fried scallops my father in law had Prime rib and I had braised short ribs. Everything was delicious and plentiful.

We love the Fairview top to bottom. The bartenders, the waitstaff, the hosts, the kitchen staff and the owners are all great people. The food is really good and there are some great specials that are changing all the time.

Very very good food and waitstaff. Hostesses and reservations very unhelpful. No attention to creating a welcoming venue with customers needs or requests of any importance. Hire some experienced, maybe older, front of house staff. They currently set a negative tone on a night out.
Terrible first impression at the hostess stand. Girls sipping on their Stanley cups, no eye contact, annoyed at us for requesting a certain table. A waitress didn't greet us for 45 minutes! Since we had ordered drinks from the bar, she thought we were already being taken care of. However, we were seated in her section. Food lacked flavor. We won't be rushing back.

As usual we had a lovely, well paced dinner. Sarah was attentive and did not rush us at all. We loved the scallops and steak tips...shared it as a Surf & Turf. I LOVE the mixed veggies. Mashed potatoes...a little dry. Desserts were great. LOVELY TIME !

I had to filet fromaggio yesterday afternoon and everything about it was a 10 out of 10... It was flavorful. Everything was served piping hot and priced very reasonably our server Sarah was on top of the entire process.

We came in for lunch and were very happy with the ambiance and the waitstaff. Sadly, those were the only positives to come out of our visit. The clam chowder looked good, but was just warm and the tomato bisque was hot, but very plain. I don’t know if it was a Monday/holiday thing, but the two broiled scallops in the entree we tried tasted gamey and the mixed veg was flavorless. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger mac and cheese in the hopes that it would make up for the bisque. Unfortunately it had a raw hamburger crumbled on top of the mac and cheese, thick rings of red onion, and cold/not melted shredded cheese. It would’ve been tolerable if the meat was cooked, but because it was cooked so rare it looked like a pile of raw ground beef. The Inn and the bar seemed like a great place to grab a meal and enjoy the views. Based on some great reviews I read, my hopes are that this was just an off day for them.
