Miss the restaurant but their take out fish chowder was excellent. Stuffed quahogs were among the best I've had. Wish they had Portuguese kale soup.

Went in to order Clam CHOWDER but had no idea that it was cold. So we just canceled & walked out.

Born here. Fished recreationally and commercially. Scratched clams and have literally been eating clam and fish chowder my entire life. Chef Sigmund's chowder is second to none.

My mother and I were looking fwd to trying food from this new place and I basically ordered a little of everything to sample. I ordered clam chowder, fish chowder, crab cakes, mild stuffed quahog and fresh bread. I paid over the phone when I called the food in. So, the food was brought out a minute or so after I pulled up to the front door. The only thing I could say to improve things might be for the restaurant to include heating instructions for each item... The clam chowder has bacon in it. I loved that, my mom didn't. The fish chowder had HUGE pieces of fresh fish in it. Yum! I enjoyed the mild stuffed quahog. My favorite thing were the crab cakes! They were both mostly crab with great flavoring. The bread was decent. You could make a bread bowl out of it... we just ripped chunks off to dip in the chowders.

This was my second trip in to grab food. I love that I can get premade chowder or base to make later. Today we got fish and clam chowder and 3 stuffed quahogs. We tried the spicy which is my favorite, the mild, and the gluten free for my dad. Everything was delicious. I had a lovely conversation with the owner about the beautiful painted quahog shells decorating the space which are made by a few girls who work there. He was also super helpful getting me the gluten free stuffed quahog so that everyone in my family could enjoy together. This will definitely be in our regular rotation!!

Amazing clam chowder! Definitely the best chowder we've ever had at Cape Cod. We liked it so much, we are driving out of our way to pick some up to pack in the cooler and take home to VA.

Picked up to quarts of clam chowder on my way to Chatham. Some of the best I've ever had. My grandmother has been making for 40 years and this is the only chowder that can rival hers. Great spot! We are going to stop again on our way off the Cape to bring back to Virginia.

These have to be some of the BEST stuffed clams I have ever had! We were in town for a few days and our friends got us hooked! Full of clams and flavor, I love the spicy one! We will be back soon for more!

Blow away! My son is a clam chowder fanatic and told me it was his favorite that he has ever had. The facility was exceptionally clean, and I had a great conversation with the owner. He explained the ingredients and was genuinely a nice person. The fact that I can stop by at any time and scoop up chowder was great. I would recommend Chef Sigmund’s to anyone!

Seriously delicious!!!! The quahogs taste like they are less than 20% bread and at least 80% the goods. Easily the best I have ever had, and my data pool is extensive.

We picked up dinner last night at Chef Sigmund's and it was a hit! The chowders, clam and fish, were delicious. We tried the two types of stuffed quahogs - chorizo and Italian sausage. They were both so good and so different that we couldn't decide which we liked better! 4 quahogs, 2 quarts of chowder and oyster crackers served our family of six adults generously - with even a little bit of chowder left for lunch. All for $52! We'll definitely be going back!

Seriously delicious!!!! The quahogs taste like they are less than 20% bread and at least 80% the goods. Easily the best I have ever had, and my data pool is extensive. The chowdah has the potatoes cut up into small pieces, so you get a great spread of ingredients in each spoon. Personally I detest chowdah that has massive chunks of potato's that leave no room for anything else on the spoon, and I'm half Irish. It's illegal for me to say I hate potatoes, in any context. Yet here I am. Chef Sigmund's Chowder has the perfectly sized cuts of ingredients, and they are so fresh it tastes like I'm eating right out of the ocean.
