The Best steak of the Cape , hands down. There are not many restaurants on and off cape that my wife and I have tried. 53 Chophouse is right up there with are favorite of all time Grill 23.
Vegetarian options: Very helpful staff, my daughter is a vegan and they went above and beyond to take care of her.

Everything we ate was phenomenal. The staff was accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure the food was prepared to the highest standards. We had 2 filet’s both cooked to perfection and the cowboy ribeye did not disappoint! The mac and cheese was incredible. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Mashpee.

Truly one of the most magical dining experiences I’ve ever had. Our server Jeremy was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable through the entire meal — offering excellent wine suggestions based on our preferences. The meal itself was delicious and well prepared. We were there celebrating my husband’s fortieth, and they even threw in a birthday surprise. Truly amazing — thank you, 53 Chophouse!
Always a great meal at 53 Chophouse - aka the only “proper” steakhouse on Cape Cod. The food is divine and it's a great space. Jeremy did a great job serving us. Looking forward to our next dinner there!
This is a great restaurant for quality, service and overall experience. It is just very expensive so only for special occasions. We had the tomahawk steak which was not the best value. The steak was excellent but very small for the price of $199. We will go back but will opt for the regular steaks or seafood.
We sat outside on the patio. It was a great September evening, the service was excellent, positive and appropriately attentive and friendly. Food was very good. We had Filet and Salmon and started with crab cakes.
Recently came here with a large party and was easily accommodated. Phenomenal food and service. Highly recommend Porterhouse and tomahawk steaks. Neil is the man. He was very helpful, welcoming, and went out of his way to make sure that a close group of friends from New Jersey had a great dinning experience on the Cape.

First visit here. The food and service were spectacular. Great menu, great drinks. The restaurant is a coffee shop by day so the ambiance is a little odd, but they do a nice job of transitioning. Prices are Maestro-like without the Maestro experience. But, people were great and so was the food. We will be back!
This is my first visit to Cape Cod and each trip I take, a fine dining experience is always on the list. That being said, 53 Chophouse was my first choice and the Girlz and I were not disappointed! We each had the 10 Oz filet mignon with various sharable sides and a cocktail. The food was simply delicious, served hot and the service was impeccable. Whenever I return, a meal at 53 Chophouse will definitely be a must! Thanks to Colin for his outstanding service!
We were a group of 9 people so we made a reservation a week ahead. We were seated as soon as we arrived, no waiting. Appetizers, main course meals, drinks and dessert were all amazing, and came out in a timely manner. A big thank you to Neal for being so kind and knowledgeable on the menu.

If you like expensive poorly cooked food than this is the place for you. Scallops were overcook, and the risotto was inedible.

We had 2 filets, one salmon and one short rib Mac and cheese. Filets were cooked perfectly. Salmon was as well with a very tasty sauce and asparagus cooked perfectly as well. Short rib mac and cheese dish was huge! Very filling and delish. Cocktails were super, we left stuffed. Our server, Michael, was fantastic. He was attentive but not overbearing. Overall, a wonderful experience.
This is our second time dining at the 53 Chophouse and it has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants on Cape Cod each summer we visit from New York. The food and service are phenomenal with a very warm and inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be back!!
$200 Tomahawk for 2, not that I mind paying that for a good steak, but it was average at best. Mash potatoes, no flavor at all, except garlic, zero salt, zero pepper, had to add it. Asparagus, sad. Cocktail shrimp, only 3, $22. Caesar salad was large, enough for two or more, but it was not anything out of this world but it was good. Desserts, not very good, had the chocolate and the cheesecake dessert, apparently from a French bakery, lacked flavor. Server was very nice, but it took him forever to greet us, I imagine he was either swamped or something, because it was hard to find him at times. Did notice the table next us got a server almost immediately after they sat down. They repeatedly apologized for the tardiness of the server and the food, but nice to hear regardless, still tipped well, probably not the server's fault anyway, seems more management related. Had a nice time regardless but won't be back or recommending.
If you are looking to save a buck keep scrolling. If you are looking for a delicious steak look no further than here. Some of the best steak I have ever had. When it's that good you don't mind paying for it.
