Burrito Bistro Mashpee

Burrito Bistro’s website proclaims, “Tasty. Fresh. Fast!” and I have to agree with each of those adjectives. Their colorful storefront having caught my eye on a recent visit to Mashpee Commons, I decided to check out the reviews and subsequently stop in the following day to try their B2 burrito—a substantial meal in itself (I ordered the large—it’s nice that they offer several sizes)—the vegan version. My order was ready quickly and I marveled at its heft as I lifted the bag and sat down outside to enjoy my meal. The unadulterated, perfectly cooked base of black beans and Jasmine rice was a refreshing change from greasy, salty mixes I’ve had in other establishments. Both the legume and the grain tasted like there were no unnecessary oils or seasonings added to the cooking process. Instead, the flavor came from the chargrilled vegetables scattered throughout: perfectly cooked meaty chunks of mildly sweet and crunchy carrot, corn, zucchini, and onions—just like the rice and beans, there were no additives to the veggies; they were garden fresh and naturally tasty. I paid extra for Salsa Fresca and guacamole; however, unlike the rest of the ingredients, the portions of these were minimal and all amassed at the bottom of the burrito. Service was good—employees were friendly and responsive; however, the employee taking my order had an earbud in one ear, which she had to remove so I could repeat my question when I came up to the counter a second time. Although I didn’t expect it to be, the burrito was not authentic Mexican; however, it was fresh and flavorful and I would definitely return for another next time I’m in town!

The employee are nice. But the food is mediocre and so are the proportions. The burritos I've gotten have been like all rice/brans and basically no meat at all.

But again, the employees are really nice.

Love the fish tacos and crispy burritos. One thing I love is the consistency. I know I'm getting the same thing every time

I ordered the B2 burrito which comes with your choice of protein or veggies it had rice choice of black or pinto beans and cheese. The burrito was good did its job and filled me up I recommend you check the place out if you're in need of a quick bite service was fast restaurant was clean

I have been going here for years and the food has always been consistently good (flavor and freshness) Crispy or Salad Wrap Burritos always a real pleaser. A real easy goto for a quick Dinner at end of day.

It’s a nice place to grab lunch and run out. I will say one of the booths was basically destroyed and pulled out from the wall which is why I knocked off some points for atmosphere, and the food took quite a while to be made. But my boyfriend got a grande regular burrito and his was delicious looking and tasting and a lot of food. I got the regular sized Hawaiian burrito bowl, which was flavorful but I would say very small. My own fault, but a heads up to others who may go there, you may want to get a grande if you want to be full.
