Called on Wednesday Oct 8th and asked if they made non-dairy cupcakes-And told her that my nephew was allergic to milk. Carrie said only if I special ordered them. She then said she could have them ready for Saturday the 11th- but not until 2pm- 2pm was cutting it close to the time that I needed them- but I ordered and paid- Carrie said she would call me if they were done early- because she knew I really would have liked them earlier. Today is Saturday- the phone rings at 1:18pm and I am thinking Cupcake Charlie's is calling to say my order is ready- Nope- A young girl is calling me to tell me her manager Carrie had her call to say the cupcakes wouldn't be ready until 3:30. When I told her the cupcakes would be useless to me then - because if I picked them up at 3:30- I wouldn't be home with them until 4. I asked for a refund and was told the manager was too busy to it then- but would call me later. This would be the same 'manager' who promised they would be ready by two- So I told the girl on the phone that I would pick them up at 3:30- but whereas they were useless to me now- my review would reflect the experience. 59 dollars wasted on 12 cupcakes. Then I recieved a message at 2:11 that the cupcakes were miraculously ready- I drove the 30 minutes to pick them up to be told by Carrie that she didn't appreciate the way I spoke to a 16 year old- I informed her that she shouldn't have had a 16 year old to call about her failure- that she had not only failed to fill a preorder that was paid in full- but then had a kid call about her failure- Carrie then started with a string of excuses- there was a call out- a line of customers- and so on. I told her that if she couldnt fill my order for the cupcakes she should have given me more than 40 minutes notice- as coming up with a dairy free dessert for my nephews 18th birthday- when he was allergic to milk was all but impossible. IT IS AT THIS POINT SHE TELLS ME THAT I SHOULDN'T HAVE ORDERED FROM THEM BECAUSE SHE TOLD ME THERE WAS A RISK OF CROSS CONTAMINATION- CARRIE IS A LIAR- SHE NEVER SAID THIS- I WOULDNT HAVE ORDERED THEM. The late cupcakes are one thing- endangering my nephew is egregious. I told Carrie she was lying and she told me not to order from them again- Like I would have ordered again from this incompetent- excuse making- sad excuse of a manager. Two customers stopped me as I left to tell me how upset they were over the way I was treated.

I had a client bring me a gluten-free carrot cake slice from this place and it tasted so fake and artificial, not only that it was so so sweet. I couldn’t even eat it. From the two bites I had I felt sick after.

Cupcake Charlie's has delicious cupcakes in so many fun flavors! They made us the most beautiful cupcake display for our wedding with 6 different flavors of cupcakes! We even had a cupcake decorated as a bride and groom in our favorite flavors. I chose Chocolate Mint Madness and he chose Rockin' Red Velvet. The cupcakes were a huge hit with our guests!
What can I say. This is just the beat place around for cakes and cupcakes. Picked up my daughters birthday cake yesterday...and as always... blown away. The store manager is such a decorating superhero, and they always go the double extra mile. If you want something photograph worthy, this gal hits it out of the park every time with her cake masterpieces. We have never had a bad experience in all of our 5 years with these gals. I will also add that they did a Beach themed cupcake tower for our wedding back in 2019...and hit it out of the park!

The cupcakes we've purchased from this establishment on multiple occasions have consistently lacked freshness. Due to this recurring issue, we won’t be coming back.. For an alternative, we've found that Roche Brothers, located just up the street, offers cupcakes with a noticeably fresher taste.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I think I’m maybe too much of a baked goods snob. I’ve gotten cupcakes from here a few times and they have been okay - enough to satisfy a craving but they taste pretty artificial and have gotten at least one that didn’t smell or taste fresh at all. I don’t think I’ll go back - will make a mug cupcake or something next time I have a hankering instead.

Came here for a Birthday! Great Service! She even gave me a candle for the Bday cupcake 🥺 I thought that was sweet! Great flavors! Toppings complimented perfectly and pretty 🤩 Definitely made the day extra special. Thank you!
