The only thing bad about Duke's Donut Works is the cost. 4 delicious donuts will cost you $20. So it's about $5 per donut. Otherwise they get some interesting flavors in each month. But you'll need deep pockets.

How? HOW?? How can a donut be so gooey and still fluffy and somehow chewy?!? I can't drive through Mashpee without stopping at Dukes. Hell I'll go out of my way to stop there! The jellies are my favorite, but the apple fritters are outstanding and honestly every one I've tried has been delicious. I used to have zero interest in donuts, now these are my special treat.

The only vegan option there was the strawberry French toast cake donut. The flavors were nice! Texture was slightly too spongy. But if you’re specifically looking for a spongy donut, this is the place to go!

The store smelled like the oil had gotten a little too rancid / hadn’t been changed in a while. Air was heavy. (And I still wear masks inside, so it made its way through a 3M N95)

Had one monthly rotating vegan flavor. People were really nice. Cool market village kinda place to walk around.

Mondo gourmet donuts with all the flavor and none of the ironic hipster pretentiousness. I highly recommend all of Duke’s offerings, but if I’m pressed to pick a favorite, the first flavor that comes to mind is Sour Patch Kid. Yes, you read that right. VIVA LA DUKE’S!🤤 🍩 ❤️

I love to see what new flavor they come up with every month but my all time favorite is the Pinky Tuscadero donut

5 stars for the Apple Fritters.

We visited in early June this year. Now, I'm a very big apple fritter fan but I have tried them all over looking for the best one/perfect one (big chunks of apples in them). I've had Apple fritters in Toronto, New York City, Boston, other parts of Cape cod, Florida, Buffalo NY, Pittsburgh. From donut shops, from supermarkets, bakeries, etc. There is one place in Niagara-on-the-Lake Ontario that was at the top of my list. No longer, they moved to 2nd as here is now my favorite Apple fritter.

Is it absolutely PERFECT? not quite, it could use a few more chunks of apples, but of all the places I have tried, these are now my favorites.

I'm looking forward to our visit next year (probably in June again) to get another apple fritter or two of them.
