Rude bunch of women. I went alone an hour before they closed and was rushed, zero customer service. I’m usually in and out when dining alone- food was mediocre. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough!

Simple breakfast food done perfectly. Would have gotten 5 stars across the board if the staff had acknowledged my wife while she waited for the staff stop talking to one another. Otherwise the Picnic Box was awesome!

Do not walk ... RUN!!! to the Picnic Box. Amazing food, great staff and also great customers. This was one of my coworkers favorite establishments. We stop frequently because of work. I was incredibly impressed. That chicken cordon Bleu sandwich, the roast beef, Cole slaw and potatoes salad all were amazing. Cookies and brownies were also amazing. I believe the owner was working (if that was her, she is absolutely has a beautiful heart and cares for her customers!) and the two other women working there today were also great. I got a tuna sandwich with tomato, pickle, lettuce on it today with a cup of potato salad and a brownie and my coworker got the BLT today with Cole slaw and brownie. All were amazing. Thank you for the great conversation and great food 💜🙏🏻

Picnic box is a super attenuated diner serving great food!
However, and this is a big caveat, I had bacon, eggs and hash browns with milk and it cost me $17 before tip.
I do not begrudge the fact that they have large overhead costs being out on the cape but, The prices seemed excessive, even for the cape, even in our post-pandemic world.

This is not a blame thing. Just an observation.

Best breakfast sandwiches on the Cape! Outstanding omelets as well. Friendly, efficient service. We love giving our business to small, family/women owned businesses.

Parking: You can also park next-door at the ice cream shop.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

The waitress was rude, I asked if any of the entrées came with sides and she said “I don’t know what you mean?” Lol I got the Spinach benny which looked amazing and stuff but most of the spinach was rotten and made it taste weird. Will not be coming back!
