Picnic box is a super attenuated diner serving great food! However, and this is a big caveat, I had bacon, eggs and hash browns with milk and it cost me $17 before tip. I do not begrudge the fact that they have large overhead costs being out on the cape but, The prices seemed excessive, even for the cape, even in our post-pandemic world.
This is not a blame thing. Just an observation.

Great hole in the wall place and a local favorite. You feel like your having breakfast with your neighbors.....the jag is fantastic.
Best breakfast sandwiches on the Cape! Outstanding omelets as well. Friendly, efficient service. We love giving our business to small, family/women owned businesses.
Parking: You can also park next-door at the ice cream shop.
The waitress was rude, I asked if any of the entrées came with sides and she said “I don’t know what you mean?” Lol I got the Spinach benny which looked amazing and stuff but most of the spinach was rotten and made it taste weird. Will not be coming back!

Love this place. Great local breakfast. Gals are always friendly. Good food, quick service. Used to be a super dog friendly place until some jerkoff complained and ruined it for everyone. Highly recommended though, even if we can't visit with the local pups anymore.

They could not fulfill a simple bread sub, and just a heads up an Italian sandwich gets three kinds of meat(no mortadella on this one) and it gets shredded lettuce (not romaine) plus some oil and vinegar.

My wife and I split a seafood platter. The clams were as good as any I've ever had. The fish was light and flaky. I would prefer sea scallops over the bay scallops however, they were good too. I'm a condiment guy and I must say the tartar sauce was excellent! We will return, maybe for breakfast sometime.
Reuben sandwich, chicken fingers, fries, potato salad, ham & cheese sandwich.
Everything looked good. Everything we had was delicious. Friendly folks. Would definitely go back!

The food is always good. It's a real treat to pick up lunch for our group of ladies at work.
Parking: There has always been plenty of parking, when I arrive.
