The Club at New Seabury’s Popponesset Inn

Service was slow. Beers served in cans without glasses which was poor. Two members of staff smelt of weed. Two of us had chicken masala which was inedible. The staff took this off the bill but it really didn't represent the standard of the night we were expecting.

Scallops dish was awesome as always and the Egg washed sole was unbelievable. Great view too!

Have come to the restaurant at the beginning and end of the summer season and the waitstaff has never been stellar. They are inattentive and disorganized. The food is average. Tacking on an automatic 18% tip for two patrons is presumptuous.

Quintessential Cape Cod with breathtaking views of the ocean. Perfect basic lunchtime menu of standard fare. Lobster rolls were perfect, but the menu is limited st lunchtime. We got what we were looking for and it was terrific.

The oceanfront view is wonderful and the service is prompt and friendly. One item they should remove from the menu is the "flash fried lobster tail." There's lobster meat in it, but the shell is encased in a thick covering of way too much batter and looks kind of grotesque, making it hard to find the meat. It's hard to eat and basically unappealing.

If you are looking for stunning ocean views and atmosphere, the restaurant is on point for that. As well as for service. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food however was disappointing. My husband ordered the filet sole, which was so strongly breaded, it literally looked like pancakes. My empanadas although flavorful were not heated all the way through. I was excited to get a lobster roll up until it arrived and realized it was cold. My fault, I should have asked. Overall, I would go back for the beautiful views.

Wonderful time celebrating memories with family & friends! Food was great and so was the service. Beautiful spot with fantastic views .. Loved it!!

Had a fantastic time dining out at the Popponesset Inn. The grilled peach salad and baked stuffed lobster were fantastic. The view was amazing and our server was kind, knowledgeable and attentive. It had an Olde Cape Cod feeling that is getting harder to find these days. Fabulous!

The location and food were were excellent. However, two things took away from the overall experience. The first was that it took FOREVER for the main course to be service. There was about 45 minutes that went by between the time we finished our appetizers and the main course was served. The other issue was the noise level. It was a very noisy restaurant and it was hard to have a conversation with the other people at the table.

Enjoyed a very nice wedding/reception.

We were a party of 5 and were quickly greeted and sat at a beautiful table overlooking the water Our serving team was attentive and thoughtful. Meals came out exactly as we requested. Awesome night with friends , awesome night at Popponesset Inn!!!!
