Smitty's Homemade Ice Cream

Excuse my french but, the kids around town have replaced the m in Smittys with an h. I went there, and now I know why. #yucky

First time having ginger ice cream, was pleasant and fresh. Also had Butter Pecan

Ice cream was delish!

Our daughter was having a bad day. She is autistic and non verbal. We pulled into Smittys at 11:30am and I walked up to see if they were open, not knowing they don’t open until 1pm. There were people there preparing to open for the day and they welcomed me. I asked if they were open and mentioned my daughter was having a rough day and we were trying to cheer her up with an ice cream. Who I assume was the owner, asked me what she would like. A small vanilla soft serve in a dish with sprinkles was whipped up in no time. I asked how much and he graciously said there was no charge. Smittys is just around the corner and we have only been a handful of times years ago. Smittys is now #1 on our list for ice cream. Our daughter and us are forever grateful for the kind gesture from Smitty’s.

Great ice cream

Delicious and creamy ice cream, a ton of flavors and really friendly and kind staff! Minimal indoor seating is the only comment I could make. The rest is all simply delicious!

Called ahead to see if they had vegan flavors, and was told yes, but when we got there, found out they were out. How about just put a line through those flavors that are not available on the board? Went to Polar Cave, which has fresh waffle cones along with more variety.

Google says open at noon, but they really open at 2:00. Please update your hours.

Great selection of ice cream, friendly service and a awesome setting for having ice cream. Our favorite place to go. I wish one was closer!

Decided to try this place out because it was one of the most popular ice cream stands in the area. There was a very long line, but the staff did a great job at making it move fast. Unfortunately, once I got my ice cream, which was cookie dough, it was pretty melted and almost like soft serve. Someone else with us also got cookie dough, and it was also pretty much melted, which was disappointing. I guess I'll have to get a different flavor some other time.
