Incredibly nice staff and great halal chicken. They confirmed they cook the halal food in a separate pot and avoid cross contamination. The flavor, seasoning, spice level, and portions are 10/10. Will certainly be coming back here again
My first time ordering and I can say this is some of the best Haitian Food I've had! I ordered the Okap Bowl which comes with two sides and a choice of protein. I picked Griot, Black rice($3 extra, but well worth it!) and Mac N cheese($1.99 again well worth it!). The bowl automatically comes with a small sides of piklils and sauce! If you are anywhere near Mattapan, Boston, drop whatever you are doing and make a detour for Gourmet Kreyol. I don't say this lightly: this restaurant serves, without a doubt, the best Haitian food I have ever had. The flavors are vibrant, authentic, and perfectly executed—so much so that during my short visit to Boston, I found myself going back a staggering three times!
