We went here for my father's birthday. Both him and my mother ordered the Filet Mignon. My dad said his had no flavor and my mom's was over cooked. The blackened fish tacos were just straight spicey. I could not eat it due to coughing from the spice so much. My grandmother said there was no flavor to the chicken parmesan either and when my mother finally got her filet back they had forgotten the shrimp that she ordered with it and by the time they did bring out her shrimp, she was almost finished with her dish. My substitute dish, the lobster Primavera was nothing to write home about either. The spaghetti squash was not even seasoned. The service was really was good. They did take one dish off our tab and our waiter did give us great wine suggestions. I did appreciate that they had substitutions I don't usually see in other restaurants but the should get the same care as the main dish. Unless they change how they make their food, I will not be coming back anytime soon.

We sat outside where they allow dogs at the tables. As dog owners and lovers we realized that watching humans feed their dogs from their forks was outside of our dining comfort zone. We orders apps and dinner and waited almost 2 hours for the food. The server was sweet and new and kept telling us the food was coming soon. I spoke with the manager who was very nice and very overwhelmed. He apologized for the delay. When the food arrived it was subpar: the calamity was very over cooked and resembled rubber bands, the cauliflower entree was mostly stalk and very little floret, the pasta was over cooked and the marinara didn’t taste homemade. The Alfredo coagulated in the bowl. My husbands steak was ok. The manager gave us a generous discount snd 2 free desserts to go. He also made a fresh calamari himself to prove they know how to cook it. We went on a Tuesday, I can’t imagine how a Friday looks.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a farm to table cozy feel! The Thai Shrimp with Coconut rice was flavorful and the must try summer entree. We tried The Pistachio Encrusted Swordfish with a fresh summer squash vegetable side that was delicious. The Fillet was cooked perfect and melts in your mouth. Our server Ray took excellent care of our group, and gave us great recommendations. I I tried the “Basil Breeze,” signature cocktail that was fresh out of the garden. We ordered the NY Thin Crust Pizza to bring home! Amazing

The pizzas here are excellent. We reccomend. Update. I had the garden salad. She had the Ceasar salad. I added chicken. She added crab cakes. Both were excellent.
Very slow service. Food was not great. The chips with the street corn were very stale. They took them back and warmed them then served the he chicken with even staler chips on top. 1 out 5.

We had garlic knots bolognese and salmon. My companion did not like the burre Blanc with the salmon but I did. Knots had a taste on top we couldn't discern. They were ok. Bolognese was delicious.

We went to Rustico twice in one week! First time we two sat inside at night and had Marguerita pizza which was great. Service was also very good. The next time there were three of us and we sat outside. My two friends had the chowder which they said was the best they ever had! They also asked to get some for takeout. Then we all shared 3 items: Beef Short rib Poutine over fries (delicious), a big salad and pizza. All items were great. Cocktails and Mocktails were good too. Service was excellent too. Looking forward to going back next time we are in the area.

I can't eat a lot of carbs so I put a note on the order to get kale slaw instead of potatoes. They completely ignored it and gave me potatoes anyway. My dad's order change was also ignored. Please pay attention to peoples notes when they order pick up. Very disappointed

Nice outdoor atmosphere on a sunny night. Cocktails were pathetically pleasing. Service was slow. Food was very subpar (pizzas may have been the better choice). Caprese salad with “heirloom” tomatoes—they were not actually heirloom tomatoes. French fries were good. Quinoa rice bowl/salad subpar. Salmon tacos were pretty good. Subpar food overall, would not return.
Kid-friendliness: Kids were playing pass with a football while their parents sat and chatted, which was nice.
