I stopped here while driving through the area, my friend and I wanted to get a small bite for lunch and someone at the general store recommended getting a sandwich here and drove over to the restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful, we got a sandwich to split but I was pleasantly surprised to find some baked goods being sold as well. I got a brownie to go as well. A loved food emporium for decades now... sandwiches are a work of art on their baked breads....just had baked chicken & roast potatoes in a del wine sauce.... ? love....Thai noodles... soy chicken wings... their entire menu.. excellent...
I had the chicken parmesian and a chicken cordon blue, plus a tomato and cucumber salad. All very good. Ill be back again! Nice retro bistro feel. Welcoming staff. Very accomodating. Reasonable prices. Plus i was able to get regular "dinner" food at 7 am. Great for those of us who do not like eggs and bacon first thing in the morning
