It was really good, the croquettes were a bit too salty and there was a tiny bit too much fat on the pork belly. Other than that, service was great and the atmosphere was amazing.

My husband and I moved to Maynard in 2023. We were looking for a cute place in town to get a cocktail and came across Azucar and we have been repeat customers ever since. One of the reasons for that is Rico. Rico jokes that he “loves love,” but he truly makes every drink, attends to each table, hosts, even cooks, with so much love, care, and compassion. He has also become an incredible friend, and while we are sad he’s no longer here (he’s not dead, he went home to Mexico), he will always hold a special place in our hearts. We also know that we will remain in good hands as all the staff (little shoutout to Esteban, Matthew, and everyone else), who are amazing and treat you like you are family. If you are looking for a warm and welcoming place to go with a great vibe, go to Azucar.

Great place for fun dining. If you have a group of 10 or under, ask about the back room for ultra casual dining away from the crowd. We squeezed 11 in the back room and still had fun. Everything was delicious. The drinks and mock tails were great. Matt was a good host. Many of the locals in our group said they would be coming back.

The best service with the best drinks in town. Rico leaving is going to hurt but we know this place is in good hands

Really wanted this to be better. The food was pretty bland, though the options on the menu were appealing. The service was excellent. Has outdoor street-side seating in downtown Maynard. The entrance was a bit in need of repair, but the bar looked well-stocked inside.

By far the worst experience! Waist of money and time. Food was far from any respectable tapas and service was non existent. Over 15 min before anyone came up to us, after we asked to be served. Water, never made it to the table. Utensils and napkin arrived after food, after we requested it. Steak- inedible. Drinks were mixed up with another table’s.
Online menu and actual menu were drastically different with minimal choices.
Cannot recommend this place.

Took over 20 minutes for a waiter to even attend to our table, and over an hour to even get the drinks we ordered. No food is worth such a long wait.

This is a wonderful outdoor venue for great tapas and jazz music that fills the entire street on Saturday nights!

Sort of a hit or miss, depending on what you get. I got a bourbon drink off the cocktail drink that wasn't very good. Some menu items were decent - garlic shrimp, mushrooms, duck, but the fried cheese and beef empanadas were barely passable. They layout of the place with these small rooms is a bit strange. I guess I'm a Bocados fan.

Wonderful service from Rico and delicious cocktails from bartender Esteban. One of my regular restaurants in Maynard💕
Have eaten here a few times. Great brunch menu, great staff, but have to say my favorite is their mushroom dish. I never order just one!
Great drinks. Too long of a wait for food.
