We had the pleasure of having breakfast here today. I gave 5 stars for everything, but wanted to write about the vibe of the place. In a world where every restaurant seems to be a chain, this is family owned and operated for 42 years! The father, his son and wife worked the eating area (a cute retro-diner feel) - they hustled to make sure all patrons were happy. I love to support this type of business, and clearly the regulars agree as there was a steady stream of people, but plenty of seating in a cozy setting. We'll be back. :)

Babico’s is a real treat. My go to spot taking my family out to breakfast when they visit & they love it too. Old school diner. The staff is great handling food allergies/restrictions. Great food, great atmosphere, great staff. 5 stars!

Only accepting cash is a huge inconvenience to customers, and it’s very solvable. You can charge more to CC customers or you could even accept Venmo. But cash only / expecting people to use your ATM (electronic) to then spend cash??? ABSURD!

This place used to have excellent Customer Service , felt welcomed especially from Brazilian employees even when I came in on my own with a book didn’t treat me any different and even made conversation sometimes .Today was the exact opposite of feeling “ Welcomed”, the Host who asked if “ It was just me !” tried to make me sit in a back booth near the ( gross bathroom , even thought it was 1ish so it was very low key , crowd died down .I politely asked if I could have a seat by a window up front where I’ve always sat, she said “ No, need to save those for bigger groups that might come .”., it’s just you right ?”..asking me that once would of been enough .There were plenty of extra booths and I would have Moved for them like I always do.This was just an excuse to avoid putting me in the front of the Diner , and probably knew she would only get a Tip from one person.. but no excuse to make someone eating by themselves feel bad .By then I said “ I think I’m all set but thanks , don’t feel Welcomed “The food has always been quality especially the strawberry waffles , but don’t plan on going back with that kind of service apparently where still in High School , “ You can’t sit here”, .
