Amazing food. This is our second visit in 2 days! The food is amazing. My husband had a spectacular Thai burrito that he's loving right now. I had some of the best churros I've had since last time I was in Miami. And my child had a grilled chicken burrito bowl. Great beans and rice, fresh tomatoes, and flavorful moist chicken. Thanks for bringing such great flavors to the area!

This place is between a Mexican restaurant and a taqueria. It feels casual and not fancy or romantic, but very pleasant interiors and clean restrooms. Lively Mexican music (a bit too loud).
The menu offers some unique and interesting options that you don’t see in an average taqueria. The food is fresh and tasty, nicely served, generous portions. The tacos are really small and soft burritos, which I prefer over hard shells.

Failed burrito. It was a ball that fell apart looking at it twice. The slaw was sugary sweet. The meat bland and overcooked. I felt like I was ruining someone's day by ordering. To be fair, I lived in the SW and know what a burrito should be. Nothing like this.

Nutritious!! I visit this place frequently. I’m vegetarian and I love this place. I order Thai bowl as it is tasty and fulfilling. The food is amazing and has good enough portion for a person to eat. The ingredients are fresh. I would defiantly recommend and highly recommend for vegetarians.

I am a long time patron of the Acton location, but I have recently also ordered from the Maynard location as well. I appreciate that the quality of this new location is just as good as the Acton one.
This is also just one of many locations that Bueno has in New England. And from my experience eating at almost all of them, the quality is equally high, wherever you decide to go. anyone here making a review, and attempting to compare this location to a restaurant like Santa Fe, or Oscars burritos is making a mistake. This is a chain restaurant. And considering that this restaurant is a chain, it is amazing.
They may be serving up Mexican food, but the Mexican food served at Bueno y Sano is a different style, a more Americanized version of Mexican food.
And the style that they do is one they do well. And the legacy of Bueno that stretches throughout New England and their 8 locations is continued here in Maynard.
Consistently tasty Mexican food prepared quickly and made with quality ingredients. Lots of different and delicious options to make carnivores and vegetarians happy, and everything is customizable. There are a few tables and counters with barstools if you want to eat in, and it's super easy to place and pay for your order on their app and just pick up your order on the takeout shelf. **UPDATE: Still great food, still friendly people, but they've been getting our orders wrong more often recently. Not sure why. Tonight two items were left out of my order that were add-ons, totally $4.50. They forget the side of guac pretty frequently, and it's not cheap. Just a bit frustrating to get home and realize it's not there. When we call, they say we can come back for it, but that's an extra half hour when we're all ready to eat. They really need to work a little harder on getting orders correct the first time. NEW UPDATE 7/2024: service has been consistently better?

We got a carnita burrito and a chicken bowl. The burrito was delicious and flavourful. Will definitely get it again. However the chicken bowl was not delicious at all. It honestly tasted like boiled chicken in cilantro water (harsh but the best I can describe it.) The staff was amazing though and the place was clean.
