Nice venue and liked the table and chairs set up. I think the band is probably very good. They made very smooth transitions from song to song, but it was so loud! I couldn't hear what the singers were saying. One was screaming and the other I couldn't hear at all.

Really enjoyed the Five O’ Clock Shadow show there tonight. Awesome unique venue in a renovated church with cool lighting, great sound and a full bar! I heard they are bringing in Reggae music starting next week on Thursday nights. So much fun!

We held our son's Bar Mitzvah party at Sanctuary and couldn't have asked for a better experience! The venue is gorgeous - definitely not your run of the mill hotel banquet room. Between the tall ceilings, surrounding stained glass windows, controllable lighting, and the tranquil and secluded bar room, the physical space accommodated our guests perfectly (so many of whom mentioned how beautiful the venue was!). Will and Liz went out of their way to ensure that both we and our vendors had all we needed both before and during the event. Their staff, including bartenders, were welcoming to our guests, and parking was plentiful on street and in adjacent lots. We can't recommend enough holding your event at Sanctuary, and we'll definitely return for more live music. Thank you to Will, Liz, and all the staff!

Sanctuary is a nightmare masquerading as a bar. The service was abysmal, with staff who seemed to have mastered the art of being obnoxious and dismissive. It felt like they were going out of their way to be rude. The drinks were horrendous—poorly mixed, watered down, and barely drinkable. It's hard to believe they charge money for such swill. This place is a complete waste of time and money. Stay far, far away if you value your sanity and taste buds.

I frequently go to Sanctuary and this last time wasn't that great. The show was Song Garden and Stone Temple Posers (incidentally they are very good). This time there was a VERY disruptive attendee, she was either drunk, crazy or high. It was handled somewhat poorly, she made multiple scenes and it was clear to me that despite the number of staff present they should have had a police officer on-site. She was screaming at people waving her arms around and very disruptive. A cop would have tossed her out or arrested her. Instead she was a constant distraction. Also during Sound Garden there was feedback, like a bad ground, 60Hz hum, I was near the back of the room and it was super annoying.
