The hospitality of the staff was off the charts. We found this restaurant while traveling home from a relative's graduation party and my 3 year old son was already spinning out from a long day and sugar. He loves noodles so we stopped here and even with his spilling things, loud voice, and running for the door, the staff were great about taking our order, resupplying napkins, and acting quickly when we needed to get the check and pack up our leftovers. The Pad Thai was more sour than I'm used to. My son and husband enjoyed sharing the Udon garlic noodles. The sushi rolls on other diners' plates looked great. We are very grateful for the grace shown by the staff while our child was acting wild. Thank you Smack Noodle!!

I've been all around Tokyo Hong Kong and Manhattan. This is some of the best ramen you can get. Absolutely amazing flavorful broth, excellent quality pork, perfectly cooked noodles You can't ask for a better ramen. My only wishes they would add more locations preferably one in Marlboro!!

As a vegetarian in the suburbs, restaurants can be hit or miss. Every vegetarian dish here is delicious. Great flavors, amazing fresh noodles, delicious miso broth, crispy tofu. Service is surprisingly fast, and the restaurant is very cute. I drop in for a meal or takeout whenever I drive through the area!

I love walking down here for a quick gari roll or a full meal. The udon garlic noodles with crispy chicken is incredible, too. I've eaten here a few times and it hasn't disappointed yet. Extremely friendly service and fun atmosphere, too.

Q: If you were stuck only being allowed to have one dish for the rest of your life what would you pick? A: The Udon Basil with Tofu from Smack Noodle. It's the absolute perfection. I always get take out so I can go home where no one can hear me making embarrassing yum noises. I've tried other dishes there too and they're good, better than good really, their scallion pancakes are good, there are a number of other interesting sides and appetizers.

What a gem of a spot deep in suburban Massachusetts. Salmon nigiri was thick cut, generous portion, and buttery; shattered my perception of what you can usually expect from a non-dedicated sushi spot. The noodle dishes are delicious; and the Japanese curry (ask for it spicy) is among the best I've had. My only critique is that the chicken katsu was a bit over-done and a little chewy. The quality of everything at this place in general in combination with their very fair pricing more than makes up for that. Smack Noodle basically a must-hit if I'm ever in the area, and it's worth the road trip out to Maynard too even if you're not.
