It is definitely not fine dining, the chairs are all in disrepair, and I was handed a paper menu. It definitely is more of a takeout restaurant.
Food was ok... I ordered: crispy tofu, (which was good), vegetable and tofu soup (broth was good, but there was no tofu and the veggies weren't cooked), and vegetable pad thai with tofu, (I did not get any tofu, and the veggies were not cooked, the noodles were cooked and flavored nicely).
Service was ok, I received app, soup, and entree at the same time, soda came in a can with a glass of ice to pour it in, and waitress checked on me once.
Total bill was $28+ tip.

went here twice; once take out once dine in.
1. take out experience was horrible. four people ordered, no one liked their food. the establishment doesn't tell you that curry dishes don't come with rice. but dine in customers get rice! why? the chicken on the pad thai also was burnt and tasted bad
2. dine in experience was subpar because i couldn't ignore all the dust and cobwebs next to us, above us, etc. sat on the chair and it was so uncomfortable like something was poking my behind. turns out the chair was ripped and the establishment just put some electrical tape on it. asked for a new one. same problem. wanted to get out then but we were so hungry we ordered anyway
normally i never write bad reviews but things tip me over the edge over time

Go to place in Maynard for Thai food. Really enjoy spicy basil fried rice. Quick for pickup.

The khao soy with crispy chicken is my go to. Super tasty and just the right amount of spicy for me. Also recommend the noodle soups, Thai rolls, and drunken noodles.
Insanely amazing food
Found long black hair intertwined in my fresh roll. The rice noodles in the Pad Thai were over cooked, breaking apart and mush. The rice was over cooked and tasted like burnt plastic. I spent $90 on this order with delivery and I can't eat it. I never order out but decided to for my birthday. I've been to Thailand twice so I was looking forward to a festive night. What a let down. I couldn't figure out how to make a complaint from their website so I'm leaving the complaint here.
I recently ordered from Thai Chili after a bit of a hiatus and hadnt tried it since new ownership. I was craving good Thai flavors and Thai Chili had always delivered on that front, so I placed an order.
The food was a huge disappointment from what Thai Chili used to be. The larb had a toxic chemical flavor and tasted like burnt plastic had gotten into the chicken and was in fact inedible and had to be discarded. The onions were flavorless, the lettuce wilted and no fresh flavors. The ginger soup was nothing but sugary sweet with no flavor, even siracha couldnt save it, and the Bun (vermicelli with chicken) had no flavor. Even the nuoc cham was completely flavorless and tasted like sweet water with orange food coloring. Shameful. I had to season the meat myself amd doctor it up. The noodles were overcooked mush and none of the Vietnamese flavors I am used to in bun were there. Even the lettuce was no longer fresh but instead mushy. The tom kah was good as were the fresh rolls, however, i couldn't find the shrimp in them. To say that I wasted 73.00 on this meal was an understatement. I am not one to gripe about paying for good food, but this experience merited a good gripe as it was absolutely NOT good food.
I would give negative stars if I could and I will not be ordering ever again. I am so saddened by the food that was put out by what used to be a wonderful amd flavorful Thai restaurant. Sorry, Thai Chili, that I had to have this experience and had to write this review.
The pho here is incredible—rich, flavorful broth with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked noodles. I tried the bun hue pho, and it was absolutely delicious.
The appetizers were just as great! The crispy tofu and chicken satay were so tasty—packed with flavor.
Great food and service. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great meal!

Excellent takeout food. We had vegetarian soup, massaman curry, and drunken noodles. It would be nice to know if on fact the dishes were vegetarian!
First timer, very impressed with the delicious, amazing entrées which were prepared and served very quickly in this small restaurant. I'd highly recommend for takeout or a very casual dinner out. The atmosphere was not great, restaurant would benefit from some updating. My seat was uncomfortable.
Always had good luck in past but last nights veg Pad Thai had only noodles and tofu : no scallions, peanuts, or other veggies. Curry came with no rice which we didn’t notice till we were home. Change in chef?
This is the best Thai I've ever found outside downtown Boston!
