The staff is so friendly and the ice cream is great. There is no shortage of ice cream stands in Massachusetts but there aren’t a ton that let you enjoy it indoors on a rainy day. I recommend the root beer float!

No joke. The best ice cream I’ve had in MA besides JP Licks. The cookies ‘n cream was silky, fresh, and had large chunks of cookies. I can’t wait to go back and try so many of their different flavors.

This is a cute little gem of a place. The menu is a little limited, but they have a nice variety. I had the raspberry mint chip, very good. The service was good. The place is clean. Very cute interior. Some benches outside. Prices are reasonable.

Bones loves the Pup Cup (vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, milk bone treats and an edible bowl!!)Overall, solid place with a great vibe and they keep updating the interior to make it more kid-friendly and welcoming to all... and outdoor seating!
I'm loving this little boutique creamery. It is a welcomed business in the town of Maynard! My husband and I went over on Sunday for a Sundae and it was perfect. I don't think comparing this place to Erickson's or the like is fair. I believe there is room for both, as they offer different scenery, vibes and tastes. We're happy we can walk on over and sit on one of the many benches while enjoying some good flavours! The only thing that's missing is The Joker's Heath Sundae!

Great service, friendly staff! Loved the indoor and outdoor decor. Gifford's ice cream is always delicious and the prices and cup sizes were very reasonable. They had maybe 15-20 flavors which was a great selection. They also make their own fudge. Will definitely go back again (and again)! Go check it out!PS For those of you interested, they have a very safe COVID setup in place; mask policy, window service, and hand sanitizer out front. Signs posted, staff was being very safe as well. Was pleased!
