Shaved Truffles and carpaccio were delicious! Loved the salad and salmon. Service was very attentive but not intrusive! Noise level was high but festive. Loved our dinner and experience. Would definitely go back.

Our reservation was 6:15 PM, which was before the big dinner rush. As soon as we were seated and given our menus the server asked us to do the best we could to order our appetizers and main course in a timely manner because they were going to be very busy. The servers comment made clearly indicated there would be no lingering over our meal. Essentially, we were being asked to hop to it and get moving. No time for enjoyment. Too bad for us for making an early reservation since the later reservations in the restaurant's eyes had priority. Unfortunately, not really a good start to our evening. Now to the food.... I ordered the tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce. It was very good. My guest ordered a duck confit rolled in pasta dish. After tasting my guest's dish, I'd rate it as a 4 on a scale 1-10 I'd rate. For me, the whole experience was negative enough that I won't be returning. The bang was not worth the buck!

Delicious and delightful! We arrived late - after a Red Sox game - and were welcomed by the staff despite getting there so close to closing time. The food was absolutely amazing and service top-notch. They are extremely accommodating for dietary restrictions (gluten free for me), and provided great recommendations within those guidelines. The burrata salad and house-made gluten free gnocchi were out of this world! Thank you, Kyle, for your hospitality! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience and recommend Bistro 5 to anyone looking for great food and service.

Food was amazing as usual, service was impeccable, and the drinks were outstanding. It was rather loud so hard to hear conversation. But that's just a measure of who was in the restaurant last night... It won't stop us from coming back!

This was a truly outstanding experience. The food, team and atmosphere are typically excellent but this was next level. It was our daughter's 10th birthday and Vittorio and our server, Dorothy, made it such a special experience for her. Our thanks to all in the kitchen - especially the pastry chef - and the front of house team! Mark and family.
I was recommended by a local friend to have a dinner at this italian cousine. I am a big sweet tooth and I was NOT disappointed with my dessert!! The plate decoration was really cute but this basil ice cream is unbelievable good. I would never think that basil ice cream would be so tasteful!

The Italian style wine pairing dinner was tremendous. Creative dishes perfectly done and paired with interesting, high quality wines. Lots of fun seating in groups. Couldn't have been better.

My carnivore dinner companions loved their dishes, but, I'm sad to say, that this vegetarian was quite disappointed. The eggplant appetizer was bland, and while my entree of mushrooms, lentils and vegetables was creative it was deeply under-seasoned and bland. The lentils were cooked perfectly, but lacked seasoning, and the mushroom centerpiece was small and tasteless.
Given the reputation of this restaurant and the price, I expected far better. (And, frankly, I don't like writing negative reviews, but a restaurant like this, which wows their carnivore guests ought to do much, much better for their vegetarian ones.)
There was one vegetarian appetizer what was delicious, but it didn't make up for all the rest that left me so disappointed.
By the way, the noise level in this establishment is refreshingly low, making it easy to have quiet conversations. Such a departure from so many other places where you can't even hear yourself think these days!
