My boyfriend and I did the heirloom tomato seasonal tasting menu as well as the wine pairings. The dishes were spectacularly good, super creative, and paced perfectly. All of the wines went beautifully with each course. And the chef came out at the end of the meal to talk to us about our experience. It was a wonderful dinner, and we'll absolutely be back.
My husband and I always try to visit Bistro 5 whenever Chef Vittorio is making a special menu. We were there for the heirloom tomato dinner. It turns out that we were the first customers to try it, so Chef came out to say he was personally cooking all the courses for us. There were 5 courses, all beautiful and delicious. Bread was very nice. Veal chop (aka Wiener schnitzel) was crisp and well cooked but could have benefited from additional flavor. It came with a lovely salad. The best part of the quinoa was the presentation- gorgeous, but I regretted not getting the burrata. The waitress was very nice.
