Wonderful food. Had a nice lunch with a close girlfriend. Our waitress was fantastic. Can't wait to go back again. Better than the NorthEnd.

We have been dining at Bocellis for many years and the consistency keeps us coming back. Great staff and service and the food is always delicious.
We all do not like the same things but if u want good food then you will love bocellis don't give bocellis a bad review until you go to the north and n get the best results and I promise you that you will be very disappointed I know that it sucks if u gotta wait at bocellis for about 10 minutes but bocellis is absolutely so much better than the north end but if you are looking for a upscale stuffy unfriendly place then go there and I promise you that you will never get a better dinner and a friendly place to eat the chefs w definitely make a dish that satisfying you n I also know that you will probably never wait more than 10 minutes for a table I highly recommend this restaurant try it for your self
We love this restaurant! It's a modest storefront in a Medford neighborhood, with an extensive menu. We ordered three appetizers, plus osso buco for me, tripe for my spouse, and veal for my son. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous! We saved a little room for dessert and coffee. We are Italian-American and we know Italian food. Heartily recommend!
I have eaten here many of times down in the pink room and the two older waitresses are pleasant & entertaining. food never fails the grilled salmon with rice and spinach is my go to. But Aldredo cb&z is another choice. Sicilian pizza is a must
Upon arrival, a reservation for 4 people at 5:30 pm was not taken in consideration in order to get a table... A cramped booth was given instead. Even though it was Father's Day, the restaurant was half way empty at that hour. The wait staff and kitchen were not in sync. We were asked more than once about our dinner choices and even had to change a couple of dishes that were not available... long after we placed the order. Yet, all courses came at a different time!! We were a party of 4 but we all had to eat separately due to lack of coordination from the kitchen and staff. -Food choices were mediocre. Lack of taste and not served at proper temperature... barely warm! -Unapologetic wait staff kept acting as nothing was wrong. I know this place is a “trattoria” but no one here seems to be committed to provide good service. Instead, they make you feel as they're doing you a favor...
Amazing buffalo wings personal favorite
Made an early dinner reservation 5:30 PM on a Saturday) for when family was visiting from out of town. I was really interested in trying a new Italian spot in this part of town, and was intially quite excited based on the large menu and homey atmosphere. This excitement was extinguished after placing our order, in that we had to wait nearly an hour (after ordering) before our food came out. Our server did not check in, despite us requesting more coffee and water, until we caught them to inquire about the food. We were assured it was coming but had to wait 20 more minutes to finally receive our meals. The food had large portions but was relatively bland. The part that really disappointed was the staff was not apologetic in the slightest about the long wait (and the restaurant was not busy so we assume the food was never put it initially). To end, we received the check to see a double charge for the entire bill. Upon catching the eror, the server again did not apologize at all and quickly reprinted the reciept without any comment.
In all, the food was okay and the atmosphere was comfortable, but we unfortunately received some of the worst service I've had in Boston.
Looking to have some serious carbs and found this place while visiting Medford in Boston. Great bar service. The bread was warm and delicious. The best bruschetta I ever tasted, fresh tomatoes with cheese. Gnocchi was good but would have been better with a lighter sauce. Manicotti was great.
Really good

The Food was good but the service was a little slow when I went.
We are from Miami, and we wish this restaurant was near us so we could eat there all the time. Extensive menu, great service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?
Wonderful service and experience! This is place you want to go with family to enjoy really great Italian food. I love homemade fusilli, fruitti de mare and amazing dessert menu. The new owner is hand on and makes you feel special. They accommodate large groups in the lower level.
We were never seated for our 8:30pm reservation. When we arrived at 8:30, there was already a horde of people waiting that hadn't been talked to. We could barely get in the door. We waited for over 20 minutes before the first staff member passed by. Another 15 minutes later, two people were sat who had a 8pm reservation — over an hour after their time. We left after that. Horrible first experience. Horrible anniversary evening. Left to go have a wonderful dinner at Raso's down the street. Get your reservations figured out. Unacceptable dining experience. Never were even acknowledged.
Our family of five really enjoyed our meals. Yummy gnocchi, saltimbucca, pizza and chicken Alfredo. And the desserts were very nice!
