Extremely dissatisfied with the president's hospitality. My brother and husband, who were visiting with the same friends, arrived for lunch, but to their surprise, the food was taking too long. Naturally, my brother began to complain, which sparked a heated debate about how uncooperative he was. Still, what do you expect when you have to wait that long …for our surprise when my brother was almost done eating his food ..the president decided to come over their table and take his place away !!!!! Very disappointed with your services and hospitality with is place .. very racist climate there !

To enjoy this venue, one must contextualize the place: a private club for Portuguese soccer team Benfica where local fans, mostly from the local Portuguese community gather to watch games and enjoy food together - note that membership isn't required for service. The venue is very informal for it doesn't work like your typical restaurant albeit, it's the conceptionally the same. The menu is on a chalkboard fixed to wall next to the bar. It is not extensive and rotates daily. So you won't be able to browse it online before heading there expect if you are on their Facebook page (the chef posts daily pics of the menu there which, is an excellent idea). Now for the nitty-gritty: you can sample some top-notch, authentic Portuguese fare. From bacalhau and octopus dishes all the way to some of best steaks in area. Brazilian dishes are also featured.Cold beer (bottled only) and Portuguese wines are widely available. If you are a sports fan, specially those who love soccer (European - Portuguese in particular and Brazilian), this place, along with the food and cold beer could be your heaven.
