This was a fantastic neighborhood diner. It was just down the street from the house that we were renting for a weekend, so it was very convenient. But it was also fabulous… Probably owned by a Greek family, and had breakfast that were uniformly excellent. The pancakes, the waffles, the eggs, everything.

Dempsey's is a Medford classic, but I'm not sure it's worth the prices. $10.50 for two eggs and homefries is a lot. I tried their "new flavor" of pancake, cinnamon swirl, and it wasn't what you'd expect. It didn't even taste like cinnamon. Homefries had no flavor. It's a loud restaurant and they use fold up chairs for the seats.

I went there for breakfast the food was great but I found a hair at my plate ? I called server I don’t wanna make any attention to the old customers or any trouble and I told her this is what I found in my plate. She took the plate to say I’m sorry but they still charged me in my plate so I keep quiet. I paid but now I’m telling my opinion ??

Very very bad experience! Waiting forever to sit. Staff was terrible, don’t talk to you and understand what you asked for. Food is unhealthy and bad. Don’t go !

Came here for the pancakes, stayed for the pancakes. One of the young men working there is lovely and good home fries as well!
