Zero consistency with this place. Food tastes different every single time, and I figured out why. Theres a huge turnover rate with the employees, so the way things are cooked changes from chef to chef. The last time i ordered from this place, I ordered online and tipped online. The delivery driver, an older man, DEMANDED a tip from me when he showed up. He said "WHERES MY TIP?! I NEED MY TIP!!" since when were tips necessary especially when they charge for delivery? And I told him I already tipped online! He continued yelling. I ended up grabbing the food and shutting the door on him. Horrible customer service

I have ordered take out here dozens of times over the years, never had a problem with the food that was received. Recently moved away and found that all our local places didn't even come close to comparing to the quality of this restaurant. Could the person taking the order have been a little more polite, yes, but I'm not ordering from this place for pleasant conversation and to have my butt powdered. I got my food and I get going. Will be ordering her over and over again.

I had a craving for noodles so I decided to order something from Grubhub for delivery and try something new. I ordered the seafood and vegetable chow foon. I will say that the squid and shrimp were really well cooked, great texture. However, there was a fried fillet of fish that seemed overcooked but also SO soggy. It's expected that takeout would get soggy but this was sitting in a huge pool of sauce. The sauce itself was also not hugely flavorful. It didn't have much taste, I had to add my own chili oil and soy sauce. The noodles were also mushed together at the bottom of the container. The hot and sour soup was also just okay. It was strangely darker than I'm used to seeing from restaurants, and had a strange BBQ sauce scent to it. It wasn't horrible but I probably won't order from here again and just stick to my usual spots.

Crab Rangoon: Pretty good. I used to think that you couldn't mess up crab Rangoon but several other delivery places have proved me wrong. This was actually good. Unfortunately there was hardly any filling. There are 2-3 bites of empty dough and 1 small bite that actually has filling in it. General Gau's chicken: Tasty and cooked ok with a bit of spice to make your mouth tingle but not so much that there is any burning. Pork bun: Depressing. The bun part of this pork bun sucked! The tiny bit of pork on the inside was ok but not great and was not nearly enough to compensate for the bland bun. Molten lava bun: Disgusting. There was nothing even remotely lava like about this bun. The inside had been steamed solid and it tasted terrible. I don't like wasting money but these went straight into the trash. Overall: I tried this place because I had a coupon for free crab Rangoon but I won't be returning.

If I had an option to give this place a 0 star, I would. The one star is for the fried rice which was good. But for a shrimp fried rice with only 5 pieces of miniature shrimp is sad. The boneless spare ribs were dry AF. The crab rangoons had a strange texture (liquidy) to the filling. We ordered beef chow mein thinking it was noodles or even the fried noodle sticks at the worse. When we opened up the food. A box of bean sprouts with beef were staring at us. It was soupy and we dug around thinking the noodles were at the bottom but there was nothing but loads of bean sprouts, few pieces of beef, and so much sauce I almost thought I ordered a soup. Beef chow mein? What a rip off. Not even a piece of a noodle. If I wanted a box of bean sprouts. I would've went to the market and made it myself. Also ordered two drinks... You would think they would at least get that right. The whole order was wrong. What a disappointment. First and last time I will ever order from here.

Beyond disgusted at the customer service. Used GrubHub to order a meal and a side. The chicken in the meal looked undercooked to us so we called and asked for a refund or replacement. The man said refund and hung up. Meanwhile, we had picked at the side and the rice (what hadn't touched the undercooked food) and threw what had in the trash. Got a call back 16 minutes later saying "don't touch the food my driver is coming to get it" and hung up. Called him back and asked him why he hung up on me "we're too busy here." I tried to explain that we didn't have the full meal to pick up, he swore and sent his driver anyways. He then proceeded to call back multiple times yelling and swearing that he wanted the missing items because he refunded me through GrubHub for the full meal (didn't total more than 5 dollars) and was coming to get them. He then personally texted me 4 pictures of the returned food trying to prove it was cooked. He threatened to call the police multiple times and to get his lawyer involved, even after we offered to physically come down to the store and pay him the money for the missing items numerous times. Had he stayed on the initial phone call instead of hanging up and told us that he was refunding us/coming to get the food, none of this would have happened. He only stopped calling once I called the police! No food is worth such disgusting and disrespectful service. Never again will we or our friends order from him.

The rudest person ever. I tried to place an order first call he heard the first item but claimed he could not hear me on my cell, he hung up. Called him back asked if he could hear me now he said no. But he heard my dog bark, he hung up on me again. I called back from a landline and he claimed he still could not hear me and told me to never call back. WOW that is amazing customer service!!! I hope they close soon!!!!

My go to for Chinese! The service here is great. I always order the crab Rangoon's and they overfill the carton every time. On my last visit, they threw in an order of scallion pancakes for free. First of all, who does that?! Second of all, they were amazing. I would definitely recommend Dim Sum Cafe!

Worst experience ordering for pick-up from this place. Confirmed order online, showed the confirmation at pick-up and the manager - Danny - refused to make our order and claimed it was cancelled. He refused to show any evidence of the cancellation and when we called the third party online platform, they said they've had problems with the owner randomly cancelling orders in the past. Definitely DO NOT recommend going here. Absolutely the worst customer service and we never got any food. We will NOT be returning or giving them any more business.

Everything tasted on the sweet side. The soup was not good. The shiu mai was not good. I thought at least the dim sum has to be good because of the name.

I love Dim Sum's food, have ordered dozens and dozens of times, but I will never order from here again. Firstly the prices have gone up and the portions have shrunk, but more importantly, the man who takes the orders over the phone is unspeakably rude. He will hang up on you if it's you busy, he will tell you to speak "faster faster" because he's "busy busy" and if you have a question, good chance he'll just hang up, leaving you to wonder if your order was actually taken or not. I've had many great meals here, but I'll never order from here again, and it is absolutely because of the man who takes the calls. Looking at other recent reviews, almost all one stars, complaining of the same thing, I'd say it's time to figure it out Dim Sum.

They are deceitful liars here. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. I ordered through Grubhub, and the restaurant refused to make my order because they wanted a higher delivery fee. They did not communicate, just left me hanging. When I called them , they lied twice to me about never receiving the order. Grubhub refunded me and told me the truth.

First time was not great, second time was pretty good. Decent rice, good donuts. Not the fastest service, but good staff. Have not tried the dumplings yet. Will go back.

The walnut shrimp is amazing! Tasts just like my favorite place in milpitas, ca. The praws were huge. Great pork buns and delivered EARLY! Repeat customer!!!

I stopped doing business with them. When they first opening they were pretty good. Then after a few years it all went down hill. I was experiencing the same problems as other reviewers. A woman used to take your order and see was polite, many times now you get this man that is just unbelievably rude and ignorant. They need phones with some kind of noise cancellation. The background noise is as loud as the person taking your order. When you ask him to repeat something he yells back at you. Many times he tells you to give your order faster because "I busy I busy". If you pause too long you get hung up on. Some times they answer the phone and without even giving you a chance to speak say "call later we busy" and hang up! Like others have said if they make a mistake with your order they blame it on you and offer no appology. The final straw was when trying to pay over the phone with a credit card. As I was reading off the numbers, the guy starts yelling "faster faster". I asked are you talking to me? He says "yes you read numbers faster I busy". That was it I was done with there terrible customer service. On top of this the quality and quantity of the food has declined.
