Very sweet staff. Good pizzas and breakfast sandwichs and smoothie bowls. Unfortunately heavy handed when adding cream to coffee, and the avocados are never good/ripe.

The staff are friendly enough, but what they sell is pretty mediocre and not great quality. I took a chance on the bubble tea and it was just not quite right - tasted like cheap ingredients and incorrectly made tapioca, all for premium prices. More of the same for a collegiate counter like this.

Mediocre food, but okay place to cry. I was having a bad day and the only place open on campus was Commons. So I went to get a toasted bagel with cream cheese and an iced coffee. The bagel was quite dry but still warm so I guess it was okay. The iced coffee was very watery and bitter. It was okay though because it was what I needed and that's all Commons is really for. Commons probably has the worst chip selection possible but at least they have brownie brittle. Brownie brittle has saved my life on several occasions and it was all thanks to Commons. I wish they still sold edible cookie dough because that was also great. It was all the fun of cookie dough without the risk. I loved it. It was still a mediocre experience though. The people that work there are usually friendly and didn't say anything about the crying which was very nice.

They have loyalty cards for their 'craft pizza' that let you get a free pizza every six or eight pizzas you buy. That and its convenient on-campus location are its biggest assets.

Cam and I were having a lovely day on campus (it was our first all-dayer) and decided to stop by the commons for some Korean beef tacos. HOWEVER when we asked the man they told us they were out of beef. Got the chicken curry ones instead. Too much sauce and little bit too spicy for our taste. The Thai iced coffee was not the best I've had. IN FACT you can get better and cheaper ones at the H Mart. Cool green chairs, very comfy. Not writing them off entirely but hope they have beef next time.

Grab a smoothie, a fair trade coffee, a Mediterranean snack or even a beer (after 5 p.m.) to enjoy as you watch one of the many big-screen TVs or take in a concert.
