Small place with a bit of bar seating. Got lunch slices, they were very large and good. Recommend going.

Just had a meatball sub and a slice from Joe pizza. Growing up nearby in West Medford, this place was well known for having the best pizza in town. Unfortunately it’s gone downhill in recent years, just being honest. My cheese slice was ok, but if you don’t pick it up with 2 hands it will flop down. Meatball sub, had to spit out piece of chewy meat. Tried to keep eating, but reminded me of meatballs from high school lunch. Bad experience all around, It’s nothing personal, I’m sure the people are great, no problems there. But the food ain’t the same as it once was. I had to rip the sub in half by hand because it wasn’t cut in half

First time here, got chicken over a garden salad, fresh pita bread, wow the chicken was amazing! Fresh salad, vine tomatoes, cucumbers, even the dressing was amazing, glad I found this place!! Definitely coming back tomorrow!!!! Good job guys, keep it up!! 5/5

Small sample size as I've only been here twice (at this point) but I am so grateful to find a NY-style pizza joint around here that is actually GOOD. I moved here from NY 5 years ago and this is the only place I've found in Arlington/Medford/Somerville that hits the spot.
Really nice crust, good cook on it, nice sweet tomato sauce and good quality cheese. It's easy to mess up a plain cheese pie, but they nail it. Buffalo chicken pie is also excellent.
The pizza here isn't cheap, but I'd gladly pay the extra few bucks over and over again.
3 stars for atmosphere only because it's a takeout only spot, but no real issue there. I believe they also offer slices here, which is a rarity in the area.

I recently visited Joe Pizza, and I have to say it’s one of the best pizza spots I’ve ever been to! The pizza dough is perfection—light, thin, crispy crust and full of flavor, making every bite absolutely delicious. Their cheeseburger is also a must-try—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. If you’re looking for great food and great service, this is the place to go!
