A small restaurant with four tables and chairs fixed to the floor, narrow and uncomfortable. Perhaps normal chairs would be better, and if you are not in good health, you will not be able to sit. The restaurant needs to find a good Egyptian chef because the food has no taste. It needs to print several copies of the menu instead of sticking a worn-out piece of paper on the cashier's table, which wastes the time of customers and workers. It also needs to pay a little more attention to cleanliness. I hope the restaurant will be better so that it represents the face of Egypt's civilization.

I ordered two dishes to go.. the Hawawshi and the mixed grill shawarma plate. The latter was mostly delicious and the quantity was generous. The shawarma strips and the kofta was the best part. The rice was good, salad and pickles were fresh and hummus was perfect. However the chicken kabob pieces were charred and dry from being overcooked. I would have given this dish an automatic five stars if there was more shawarma and no chicken. The Hawawshi was interesting. It was my first time trying it and I would describe it as similar to a calzone crossed with a meat pie. I liked it but it was missing a bit of spice for my taste buds. Would like to try this place again.

Delicious Egyptian food. Definitely worth the try. I got falafel platter, koshari and the hawawshi. All were great. Food is fresh and made by order. Stop by and try good authentic Egyptian food.
The hawawshi is good
Not a fan of the mango lassi
The koshari was excellent. Very generous portions overall. Fries were also delicious!

Nice restaurant for fast Egyptian food.
One of our new favorite places to order from when we want take out! Meats are so delicious with such great seasoning, amazing garlic sauce, and wonderful desserts. A+! Somerville loves Kushari & Grill :)
The food was great! My mom, who is a picky eater, loved the spicy falafel and the Egyptian fries!

Some of the only Egyptian food around. The people were nice, and I enjoyed my visits. The food is good but not amazing.

I come here about once a week with my husband. Best chicken kebab and half chicken/mixed grills in town! And the garlic sauce with the rice is amazing (and I’m not one for garlic sauce). 1000x better than and all those other middle eastern eateries. Look no further if you want great Egyptian food!
