The coffee is indeed excellent....Some of the best I have ever had without question. The one star relates to our last order. The order arrived quite late, and the first bag opened had a number of stones in the coffee....not small, same size as the coffee beans. I heard the stones in the grinder, and tried to stop the grinder before something happened, but got there a second or so too late. The stones jammed my grinder and broke it - the belt drive snapped. Luckily I purchased the grinder from a company that has a great repair program. I contacted Len's regarding the stones in the coffee - I did not and do not expect Len's to pay for the repair, nor a new grinder. I received zero response, waiting a full week. No apology, no commiseration - just silence. Regardless of how good the coffee is, every business is a people business. In consideration of how our last order was handled, we will not be ordering from Len's again.

We're spoiled... it is now rare that we find coffeeshop coffee that is better than at home. Since we are local, we drop by to pick up our orders ... Len is always happy to talk about coffee, bring out something new to try, etc. They also opened a little coffee to go place across from the West Medford train station if you need something quick! Highly recommend!

Len's Coffee is sooo good, it is worth trying all of them. Since January 2020 I have tasted 273 coffees from 38 countries roasted by roasters in California, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Montana, and Massachusetts. Len's Coffee is one of my all-time favorite roasters and Len's roasts several of my all-time favorite coffees, especially the Marrakesh Espresso, the Dalat Vietnamese Blend, the Saigon Espresso #2, the Ethiopia Kembata, the Dark & Stormy... and the list goes on. Have tasted many of Len's coffees and my goal is to taste them all. Pro tip - also check out the Sale Page - always great deals there to try new coffees in addition to the favorites.

Very rude customer service. I asked about shipping times and was given a “…due to the pandemic” generic excuse even though I ordered a month earlier and it was shipped a day after.I said if the item is backordered to just put something up so customer knows that the shipping info changed and was told it would take him two hours to add that and he didn’t have time.

Amazing coffee but horrible customer service. Ordered coffee a week ago and have not gotten an email about shipping yet. "We ship over 90% of orders by the following business day" straight from their website and is not true. Again it has been a week since ordering. And no one has responded to my emails yet.

Several years ago, I was given a bag of Vietnamese coffee and I was hooked. I searched online for where I could find it in the U.S. and I found Len's Coffee in Medford, MA. While visiting my daughter in the Boston area we discovered that Len's coffee was just a mile from her house and we walked over. What a treat! We got a lesson in the different types of coffee and Len even made us a couple of cups of his own excellent version of Vietnamese coffee to sample on a cold wintry day. We were very impressed with the coffee and with Len's generosity in making our visit so special. I left with bags of coffee and a couple of samples to carry back to California. Highly recommended!
