I had my Daughter’s bridal shower at the Long Cross. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The venue provided linens and flowers for the tables. We had complete use of the back part of the restaurant and patio. They allowed us to set up a balloon arch and backdrop for pictures, and several tables for displays and games. The food was great and the price was reasonable. I would recommend having your party or shower there.
I made a quick stop, approx 45 minutes before closing, Monday the 28th April. Usually servers an bartenders are looking to close shop an get out, which was the case at the AC Morth hotel, but I digress. As soon as we walked in, the bartender ( forget her name but receipt says pm bar 1 an 2), greeted with a smile, gave menus asking immediately what our preference for drink was. 10/10 some of the best food and drink I've ever had. We started with the steak and cheese egg rolls which were incredible. My wife got the fish and chips which were perfectly crispy and the tartar sauce was clearly home made (and spot on). I had the Bavarian sandwich (special for Oktoberfest) which was absolutely stellar. I was skeptical about the potato salad with mustard, but it absolutely slapped.
