The food is so good I did get sweet and sour chicken but to my surprise it wasn't what I thought it was going to be they give you chicken fingers with pink sauce but in their menu chicken fingers is really chicken tenders that's why I thought I was going to get sweet and sour chicken I usually get that with my rice

I was very disappointed I ordered when I lived in NC for personal and for work and this past week I went to a workforce time the food was so good we decide to have it for Sunday dinner as a special treat. I was shocked the Chicken wings, chicken fingers, spare ribs and teriyaki and crab Rangoon were so over cooked we could not eat them dried out. The rice had no flavor. The shrimp was very good as was the Marco polo and egg rolls. We are seniors on fixed income so we do not do this often so very disappointed most of it had to be trashed Lee Pedro

The rice is never brown without flavor and Veggies. The sweat and sour chicken is only Toss on syrup on top most places you get cherries and pineapple. The chicken fingers dough is Raw and the shrimp is hard over cooked inside no matter what order it is there all the same it's like as if all this place care about is making money and don't care about good service . Why post pictures of a good menu when the food looks like trash when you get it. POOR SERVICE

I ordered delivery from May's. I got 1 order of Crab Rangoon, 1 house friend rice and 1 beef and scallion. It was $60. Don't get me wrong, I would pay $60 for good Chinese food but this was not.The fried rice is WHITE, not brown. It has no Seasonings and barely any veg. The crab Rangoons were tasteless. No Scallions, barely any crab. They were mostly just cream cheese. The beef and scallion had decent flavor and is the only reason why I'm giving this more than 1 star.In the end, I will skip this place when I order in the future and would not recommend trying unless you like very bland food.

I don’t get all the negative comments. It’s inexpensive comfort food. I’ve been eating here since 2007 when I was a kid.

Omgoodness we LOVE this place and have for many years!! We order from here on our way home from the airport today….Southwest Florida is lovely but they do not have a Mays Cafe!!We miss our friends Raymond but the restaurant has not lost a beat since it was turned over to the current owner. We truly appreciate the kind service…fresh and totally tasty food prepared by these amazing people. Our neighborhood is very lucky to have such nice people that create delicious well priced food!! Yummy stuff!!Thank you… Brian and Elaine Ford

My family and I had May's last night for dinner and it was absolutely delicious! My family is very picky when it comes to Chinese food and we all loved it. The chicken fingers were golden brown as was the egg rolls. The boneless ribs were pretty tender, the rice was very good. The one complaint was the Moo Goo Gui pan was missing something but overall good. General Gau chicken wasn't very spicy but also good. Vegetable chow mein was very good. Mays Cafe has definitely stepped up their game over the years. We will order from them again!

Ordered take out PuPu Platter for two. Chicken Fry Rice. The rice had no color and it flavorless. The duck sauce is extremely bland.

The ma po tofu was relatively bland. I liked that there were lots of vegetables in there, but the sauce could have been spicier.
