This is definitely a GEM. I’ve gone multiple times and it never disappoints me. The food is incredibly good serving American diner food. The names of the foods are even clever, actually going with the name of the restaurant. The service is wonderful, the waitresses are extremely kind and accommodating. I get the 2 lanterns and it never fails, it’s been outstanding every time, they have some of the best home fries I’ve had as well. The drink selection they have is unique as well, I love the Cherry Coke they have it’s delicious and refreshing. The pricing is also not insane like nowadays it is at restaurants. The prices are actually affordable if you wanted to stop by for some breakfast. Only thing I’d say is I wish they had a restroom for public use. But other than that, I 100% recommend going.

After dropping off my oldest daughter at the airport in Boston to which I traveled from Lowell, Ma. I decided to take the backroads home and explore a new breakfast spot with my younger daughter we detoured 15 mins out of our way to visit this place which appeared promising however upon entering I needed to use the restroom after acquired seating I ask the waitress the location of the restroom I was informed there’s was no public restroom available which forcing us to leave. I was dismayed and perplexed by the lack of public restroom access for paying customers in a public establishment

This place is a treasure. I remember eating here two decades ago and it was more or less identical. It seems trapped in time, harkening back to the age of simple American diners.

There's certainly nothing else like it in the area today. The food is solid and exactly what you'd expect, and the prices are so low you'll wonder if you took a wrong turn and drove 40 miles into the boonies.
