I used to love this place....I don't know what happened ...old cut up dried scallops, arancini that was deep fried way too long and served black , caprese salad that had old dry mozzarella on it.. I'm so sad and offended that they served me this garbage and took my money

The Artichokes Roma was amazing! My Carbonara was offered with a few pasta choices but the sauce got dry quickly and was lacking in flavor. My friend's Eggplant Parmesan was delicious, he said, and he was raised by parents from Italy. Our food server, Mary B was appropriately attentive and timely with service.

AMAZZZZING EVERYTHING! Server Emily was great. Expresso Martini on point(hubby got it, I don’t typically like and I even got one as well!), I ended up ordering a few appetizers for my dinner, caprese salad, and pictured here are meatballs with fried polenta, and artichokes rolled with prosciutto, hubby got short ribs and way too full for desert. Definitely recommend and we for sure will be back.

They started us off with real EVOO to dip
Our bread in with salt & pepper you can tell the EVOO was straight from Italy.
I started with the arancini special which was sausage and saffron sitting in a white creamy sauce that was absolutely delicious.
Then it was a toss up on my pasta dish between lobster raviolis and wild mushroom pappardelle I went with the lobster raviolis in a pink sauce. I never finish my food and I ate ever single ravioli. The portion was good enough for me and the proper way to eat a pasta dish so you don’t have left overs or waste. The pink sauce was creamy and delicious (I even dipped my bread in it at the end).
Then I went straight for the dessert and ordered affogato (gelato with espresso) wow amazing not too sweet and not too bitter from the espresso perfect blend.
Then my friend and I still were not ready to leave so I ordered a espresso martini and again amazing only advice I would give them is shake the martini more to make it foamy
And that was my first experience at Gusto’s I give it a 10/10
Oh and the pizza looked really good that will be my next outing.

We've ordered takeout from here for years and it's always been very good- Solid pizza and a variety of tasty high quality pasta. It's simple but also fancy enough for low key special occasions. Recently though we had the opportunity to go in for a real life in person dinner, and it really outdid my expectations. We were familiar with the food so thats no surprise, but they also have a beautiful dining room with nice views of the Mystic and excellent service. Made me feel like I was on vacation despite being just down the street. 10/10

Review solely based off of 1 Calabria pizza to-go. The pizza was missing the basil and the sauce was watery and soupy (possibly from the cheese?). Crust was delicious. I wouldn’t go back, but the atmosphere was nice inside.
