My husband’s fish was not fresh at all. My pasta was barely edible. The special cocktails were not special at all and there was not a lot of people in the restaurant but we still had to wait a while.

Horrible… Should have known better that 6pm on Saturday with no diners in the restaurant. Specialty Drinks were terrible.$29 for Salmon and it was terrible, not fresh. WAY over priced.Service was painfully slow. Not sure what happened, but looks like a re-Brand of Salvatore’s attempt.AVOID this place !!!

The place is nice. But the food is awful, we were 3, the 3 plates we got were terrible, bad quality and taste. Do not waste your money

Note that Salvatore's had been renamed Vault.Had an OK dinner here. Service was very slow, but I think that was more because a flood of people arrived for a show at the local theater. Food was ok (pulled pork), but a bland in places (onion rings and signature pasta).Dietary restrictions: Had gluten free options

Unfortunately I can only give this 3 stars! We got some appetizers and drinks. Everything was great EXCEPT for The fried calamari. The bartender was awesome when we showed him the big greasy pile of mush in front of us that was supposed to be the fried calamari, he just apologized and took it right off the bill. So..besides that, it was a nice bar/restaurant.

We hadnt been here in years. The drinks and service were great. Food left something to be desired. We won't be rushing back with all the other great options so close by.

Now called The Vault. Some minor menu changes. A few more sandwiches and apps. No more large pizzas. Can still get takeout as well.

Mediocre food. They changed the menu and the name of the place but the food is still second rate. How can a so-called Italian restaurant not know how to make a decent pizza? The sauce was stewed tomatoes. I don’t think the dough was fresh either. The nachos were just bad. Come on Vault. Step up your game.

Didn't enjoy my meal at all. Pasta Bolenese. Really tasted plain without any real standout flavors with either the pasta or sauce and possibly even reheated which would have been a crime against humanity and my stomach as well. The waitress for our party of 12 in the vault took great care of us, suggested all the appetizers for us which were fantastic. Thanks to her it was a nice experience for my family.
I normally love Salvatore's in Downton Boston. But this location is pretty bad. I sent back my medium rare burger twice because the center of burger was still raw. My wife got a pizza that was completely blacked crust (over 50% was just black).Drinks were good (hence the 2 stars)Service was ok

- OK experience before show- Food just OK and pasta was clumped together and half inedible - desserts blah- I understand that a lot of businesses are struggling to maintain a full staff but had to ask four different people for parmesan cheese and plates were just placed on the table for us to figure out which dish belonged to each person.- Nice staff and did their best on a busy night

Came in for a date night, service was off and food was sub par especially for the price. It’s a shame, used to love this place and for a $120 bill we left with an awful experience and taste.

Sat at the bar. Bartenders were great, drinks were good. Food was good for sure, but could’ve been better. Could be more seasoning & flavor. If improved on that I bet this place would be excellent

I feel like this was once one of those iconic local restaurants, and maybe it still is, but whenever I have ordered from here I have found it very mediocre and overpriced. I usually do takeout but staff are always nice when I am there in person and very accommodating.
